  Hotel not bad…Food shocking and one member of staff very rude in the top bar ..Will Never come back here , Owner at Hotel Paradis Palace, responded to this review Why did you not contact the Management or the reception to solve the problem ? Was it easier to write a bad review because of 1 rude staff member of more than 350 staff members ? Our breakfast is very varied with 2 coffee machines, filter coffee, Nescafé, a new juice machine, chocolate powder, 8 varieties of tea, pancakes, donuts, omelets, 14 different pastries, hot sausages, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs, varieties of hot vegetables, white beans with tomatoe sauce, fried potatoes, margarine, 6 varieties of jam, 6 varieties of yogurt, 12 different cereals, cold milk, salads, 4 varieties of cheese, Ricotta, 4 varieties of cold meat, several varieties of fruits of the season, fruit salad, ketch-up, vinegar, olive oil, olives, capers etc. and several varieties of bread, flavoured water (detox) ……….We offer our guests lunch by the sea, «feet in the water», with every day fresh grilled fish, chicken, turkey, fresh quail grilled over a wood fire, at least 8 – 12 different salads with side dishes, a sandwich station, pasta, pizza, fries, Tunisian specialties, lots of vegetables, meat in sauce, fish in sauce, fried food, show cooking, fruits etc. etc.In the evening guests enjoy different tastes and spices with our themed buffets: Monday = Tunisian buffet, Tuesday = Aroma Therapy (spices), Wednesday = around the Mediterranean sea, Thursday = Asian, Friday = Oriental, Saturday = Italy and Sunday = International. At each meal we also offer pasta, pizza and fries and Tunisian meals, 10 salads etc. There is something for all tastes, a large choice and good quality to satisfy all approx. 15 different nationalities who live in the hotel!Our strong point is our helpful staff, friendly and always attentive to customers to satisfy their requests and wishes. We took advantage of Covid to train our staff, inside the hotel and also outside.

  Great stay but management need to be made aware of their waiter’s behaviour

  Hotel rooms are dated but okay . Cleaned and fresh towels daily .Food can be hit and miss but there is always something you can find to eat . Beautiful pools with sunbeds are available Entertainment daily and nightly . Entertainment staff are really good with everyone Beautiful secured beach with sunbeds .Security staff on beach and attendants always there to help and keep unwanted guests from bothering you . Sellers ,Camels and horses roam along beach front.My only fault was waiters at meal times saving tables for their special guests !! They actually leave their phone on the table as if the guest has done this ! We witnessed this on many occasion so if you see a mobile phone on an unreserved table ,Sit there and wait to be approached by the waiter who will then claim someone is sitting there ! The answer is no there isn’t and when the so called special guests arrive the waiter will then remove their phone. No good whatsoever when you’re looking for a table . Also the treatment of two women together ( older ladies) may I say where treated like second class citizen as the waiter working in the lunch restaurant right beside the beach was extremely abrupt with them . Uncalled for without any doubt. Who in the right mind as a guest in any hotel would leave their mobile phone on any table to reserve it . Does this make sense . No we knew exactly what they were doing and witnessed it in main restaurant and beach restaurant only a few days ago . Unfortunately too many people think they have a right tipping the waiters large amounts to save a favourite spot .
