  Great, relaxing but a bit remote and have to travel a good bit to see the sites. The people are amazing and staff great.

  Absolutely lovely time at this hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were so nice and clean and our maid Najoua was amazing and made our room so gorgeous with flowers.The atmosphere is very quiet and good for relaxing with extremely calm music in the evenings.Our wait staff in the restaurant were unbelievable and so kind and we were able to have good fun with them ?? Location wise it is a bit remote but taxis are easy to get to go to all local areas for cheap prices. Bottled water is not provided and you have to pay for it so keep this in mind but there is a shop up the road that you can buy some from. The same with any soft or alcoholic drinks, these all have to be paid for.

  My 7th Visit to The Sindbad Hotel – A Hotel I Love, but Some Disappointing ExperiencesThis was my seventh visit to The Sindbad Hotel in Hammamet, where I spent 17 days. Over the years, this hotel has become like a second home to me, which makes writing this review particularly difficult.The PositivesThe security team at the entrance were always smiling, friendly and helpful. The two lovely ladies at reception provided first-class service, while the beach staff and the gentleman who cleaned my room were absolutely fantastic. These wonderful people are among the reasons I keep returning.The Main Restaurant – Disappointing ServiceUnfortunately, my biggest disappointment was the service at the main restaurant, particularly from some of the older waiters and the head waiter.As a Tunisian who speaks Arabic, I felt I received a different standard of service compared with foreign tourists. During my stay, not once did a waiter pull out my chair or pour water into my glass, while I regularly watched other guests receive these gestures.It is not about needing someone to do these things for me. It is about being treated equally and with the same respect as every other paying guest.One evening, while waiting for the chef to cook my food at the barbecue station, we were having a friendly conversation. The head waiter sent another waiter to tell the chef to stop speaking to me. I felt embarrassed and humiliated by this incident and made a complaint.After this experience, I no longer felt comfortable eating in the restaurant.Dinner Delivery – A Disappointing End to My StayI requested that my dinner be delivered to my room around 7:30 pm. The first evening, it arrived on time, but the second evening, it arrived an hour late.On my final evening, I waited two hours for my dinner. When I went downstairs to complain, nobody seemed to know anything about my order.Only after my complaint was my dinner finally delivered. By then, I was so disappointed that I did not touch it and went outside the hotel to eat instead.The Private Shisha StandAnother disappointment was the private shisha stand on the beach, which is separate from the hotel's wonderful beach staff.The seller repeatedly approached me while I was trying to relax. When I eventually tried the shisha, I found it expensive and of very poor quality.He also repeatedly demanded immediate payment, despite my explaining that I was a hotel resident and would collect the cash from my room.I also purchased tea from the same stand and became unwell afterwards. I experienced symptoms of food poisoning for a couple of days and visited a pharmacy to obtain medication.I cannot confirm what caused my illness, but I wanted to share my experience with management.My Message to ManagementI am sharing this feedback because I genuinely love The Sindbad and want to see it maintain the high standards that have brought me back seven times.Despite these disappointing experiences, I remain very happy with the hotel, its facilities and the wonderful staff who made me feel welcome. My concerns relate specifically to certain aspects of the restaurant service and my experience with the private shisha stand.I hope management will address these concerns and ensure that every guest receives the same level of service and respect, regardless of nationality or language.The Sindbad still holds a special place in my heart, and I sincerely hope my next visit will be a much more positive experience.   A truly beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Stunning beach. The hotel staff were so genuinely warm, friendly and very helpful. Always ready with a smile and a hello.
