Well if this is what 4* gets you in Tunisia I’d hate to see what 1* gets you probably a tent in a muddy field. No towels in the rooms, no kettle, no fridge, a blue water pipe with a watering can attachment for a shower, dirty floors, rubbish under both beds, dust thicker then my hair on a light fittings, mirrors, tops of everything basically. The indoor pool was empty except for a metre in the bottom which was green sludge. I was asked if I wanted a spa treatment but after walking past and seeing the facilities that was a no go. WC signs that lead to nowhere. Glasses the size of thimbles for your drinks around the pool and of course they won’t give you a whole bottle and as for the food in the restaurant we’ll stay clear unless you like eating the same cold food for every meal and as for the à la carte restaurant apparently that closed years ago but is still being advertised as open on the On the beach website . If you sit in the reception area and watch the video of the hotel when it first opened however long ago that was, it was a nice hotel, but unfortunately it has been left to go to rack and ruin.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my stay at Delphin El Habib. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed, comfortable and genuinely looked after. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere throughout the entire hotel — there is such a warm, friendly and positive energy everywhere you go.The hotel itself is lovely and, most importantly, everything felt clean and well looked after. You can tell that the staff work incredibly hard to maintain the hotel and make sure guests have a pleasant stay. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and it was always lovely to come back after a busy day and have a comfortable space to relax.The staff deserve a huge amount of credit. Everyone I came across was friendly, polite and welcoming, and I never felt like I was just another guest. There was always someone happy to help, have a conversation or make sure everything was okay. That genuine friendliness made such a difference to my holiday.The atmosphere around the hotel was one of my favourite things. Whether you wanted to relax and enjoy the sunshine or get involved and have some fun, there was always something happening. It was lively without feeling overwhelming, and there was such a lovely holiday atmosphere throughout the whole stay.And I absolutely have to give a special mention to the animation team because they were AMAZING! They brought so much energy, enthusiasm and fun every single day. They were constantly creating a great atmosphere and getting people involved in activities, games and entertainment. What I loved most was how friendly and approachable they were. They made an effort with everyone and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests were having a good time.The animation team really made the hotel feel alive. Their energy was infectious, and even when you were just relaxing nearby, you couldn’t help but smile and enjoy watching everything going on. In the evenings, the entertainment and atmosphere were brilliant, and they really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an enjoyable time.The rooms were another positive for me. They were clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed. Housekeeping did a great job, and I really appreciated coming back to a fresh, tidy room every day.Overall, Delphin El Habib gave me exactly what I wanted from a holiday: a welcoming atmosphere, friendly people, a clean and comfortable hotel, plenty to do and, most importantly, memories that I will genuinely look back on with a smile.A massive thank you to every member of staff who made my stay so enjoyable. From housekeeping to reception, the restaurant staff and especially the animation team, you all contributed to making this holiday such a fantastic experience.If you’re looking for a hotel where you can relax, have fun, meet friendly people and enjoy a genuinely lively holiday atmosphere, Delphin El Habib is absolutely worth considering.I have had an amazing stay and I would genuinely love to return in the future. A wonderful hotel, and the restaurant is excellent too. The pool is great, and the entertainment team is especially fantastic—in fact, the entire staff is wonderful. I really loved this hotel; it is truly amazing.
