  A great holiday

  This is a great hotel, but it is not a 5 star. The general cleanliness is first class as are the staff. All of the staff work tirelessly to help you enjoy your stay and a shout out to Luca of the animation team who is fantastic. The food is buffet style except the one night in the a la carte restaurant and is of excellent quality and plenty of it. The all inclusive beer, wine and prosecco are perfectly drinkable. The outside seating area in the buffet restaurant is spoilt by smokers as this is not Europe and they puff away and there are lots of them. The beach is perhaps the best I've seen in the Mediterranean and on a par with a Caribbean beach. Soft sand and a gentle gradient in the sea, no rocks or sea urchins. Just fantastic, and the water sports are cheap compared to European resorts. The main swimming pool is excellent and very large. Kids, and there are a lot of them tend to keep away from the main pool and stay in the kids pools where there are slides and entertainments.It is worth noting there is an International airport directly across the main road. Our room was called a garden view when it should have been called airport view. We're not talking Gatwick numbers of planes but they do take off periodically throughout the day. They all circle on take off and fly over the top of the hotel. Not overly noisy but you will notice them. The planes landing and reverse thrust is the noisy bit, particularly in the night. Would that stop me returning, probably not.Overall a solid 7/10 for me, just a shame about the airport proximity, smokers and too many children for me. However the staff, food, weather and beach could tempt me back.

  Wonderful Stay

  This is our second stay at Kuriat Palace and can’t recommend it highly enough. Customer service from reception, room cleaners, waiters and bar staff was second to none. Buffet choice was varied and quality of preparation and display made it a joy to visit the restaurant. Will certainly be returning for another unforgettable trip.

  Anniversary get away

  My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our 1-year wedding anniversary in June after seeing it all over TikTok, and it really lived up to the hype!I’ll start with the positives. The staff were absolutely wonderful. A huge thank you to the restaurant waiters Nacer, Said, and Nourdeen — they truly went above and beyond for us. We spent most of our time at the beach, and although I unfortunately don’t remember the names of the beach waiters, they were also amazing and made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was also really lovely. We stayed in a double room with a beautiful garden view, and we were facing the airport, which was actually a really nice bonus as we enjoyed watching the planes. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was always kept clean. A special thank you to the lady who cleaned our room — she was so kind and sweet. Whenever I needed anything, she was always happy to help and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I feel terrible that I can’t remember her name, but she definitely deserves recognition for her hard work and kindness.My husband and I aren’t usually the type to take part in activities, but we were really impressed by the entertainment team. There was always something happening, especially for children, so I would highly recommend this hotel for families. We also loved that the adults’ and children’s pools were completely separate. We normally choose adults-only hotels, but because this resort is so large and there is so much going on, you hardly notice the children around you. The animation team were all lovely, especially Shasha and Luca.Of course, there were a few things that could be improved. Firstly, I understand that being in Tunisia means insects can be expected, but the ant problem was quite excessive and something the hotel should address.Another issue for us was the water situation. In previous all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at, bottled water was provided. Here, glass bottles are filled with filtered water, and each floor has water fountains where guests can refill bottles to take back to their rooms. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the taste or quality of the water. The food was also nice overall. However, as with many all-inclusive hotels, it did become quite repetitive after a few days. There was still a good variety of options available, but we found ourselves wanting a bit more change and variety throughout our stay. My favourite meal had to be breakfast, as there was such a large selection of options available. There was something for everyone, and it was a great way to start the day.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again. Despite the few issues, the amazing staff, beautiful surroundings, and great atmosphere made it a memorable anniversary trip.

  Good hotel bit overrated

  All and all a good hotel that is a bit hyped up so let's start with the PRO:Staff is really attentfull and friendlyBeautifull beach5 minutes from Monastir airportBreakfast very complete (should serve this for lunch to)Gras zone around the poolBeautiful view from the room if you pay extra!Sundown into the sea 😍CONSRoom-> small showerhead, toilet takes ages to flush, no room to hang towels/clothes in the bathroom, if you want to be a top notch hotel get smart tv's, curtains with stains.Pool-> "zen" pool filled with children while there's a large pool with all they need on the other side, wake up early (before 6) cause towel reservation is a thing sadly enough.Beach-> we picked up glas along the shoreline on different occasions, the water only goes up to your waist, parasols are pretty small for 2 people.Food-> food area is way to small and very busy at peak hours, loved the breakfast but had a hard time finding any decent food for lunch (go to the snack restaurant it's way calmer) and dinner, most of the outside area is still for smokers 🤢.The reason this hotel is so high rated is because they push people to give them 5 stars on different occasions.So it's a good hotel and if this is the best in Monastir I'm curious about the other hotels. This is just an ordinary hotel in like Egypt or Turkey

  Loud and annoying

  They have music blaring 24/7 making it hard for anyone to communicate. Made it even harder to sleep as the music was playing till at least 10 pm each evening.
