  Such an amazing hotel,staff are so lovely and welcoming. First holiday here and I can't wait to come back again. The amenities is so good and lots of fun love it when they get us up dancing with them and love all the shows they put on.   Fantastic hotel - the staff make this place special!

  Just returned from our 1st stay at Sahara Beach and honestly what a fantastic hotel. The staff honestly make this place, the amount of effort they put into the cleanliness, friendliness, entertainment, decorations and presentation is amazing. Room - stayed in 1520, had a Seaview, was a triple room, we asked for a cot though as our 2 year old is too small for a bed which made the room very cramped but we managed fine. Room was nice, modern and clean. We hired a fridge which worked well, nice and cold. Air con worked great.Entertainment was amazing, I have been to a lot of all inclusive hotels over the years and the entertainment is the best I have experienced. The level of effort that goes into everything is honestly outstanding. We had so much fun!! The food was just wow, we never ate the same thing twice, there was so much choice and loved trying all the different Tunisian dishes, everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The pools are fab, beach is gorgeous! Location is a bit remote if you like to go out like we do, but it worked well still. We went on the public bus, just 1 diner each into Sousse one day, and then another day on the public bus to Monastir. Bus is every 30 mins and was easy even with a pushchair, bus stop right outside the hotel. We did the Kuriat Islands trip which was a lovely day out, we did the yacht version rather than pirate ship and it was so chilled, bean bags on the boat, lovely staff. Nice lunch included. We saw dolphins in the sea and a baby turtle on the island. We went by taxi to Port El Kantaoui for an evening which was lovely. Worked out about £30 return. We had an amazing holiday but there are a few improvements that could make the hotel even better. Drinks - soft drinks were fine but the alcohol drinks were not great, tasted different depending which bar you went to. Sometimes that were undrinkable, other times fine. But the thing that was odd is that it was like they had no alcohol in at all. I am a light weight with alcohol and didn't even feel like I had a drop of alcohol. Yet when having the paid cocktails at the beach bar could feel like I had a drink. I only drunk cocktails, vodka and gin, my husband said the beer was ok though. Cutlery and serving utensils for desserts- We were never given any spoons or forks for desserts on our table so had to pinch forks to eat desserts from unused tables every evening. Also many of the desserts were hard to serve on your plate as all the was put out were standard knives. But all in all a fantastic holiday and will hopefully come back again in the future!   We visited for the second time, and once again, the thing that undoubtedly makes this hotel is the staff. There are plenty of them, and they work incredibly hard. They are friendly, attentive and always seem willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The entertainment is perhaps a little questionable, but I think they do a good job with what they have to work with.The rooms do need a bit of TLC, particularly the bathrooms. However, they were exceptionally clean, which is certainly a big positive. You do have to pay extra for a fridge and a hairdryer, which I felt was a little disappointing.The food in the main restaurant is lovely, and I think you would have to be extremely fussy not to find something you like. There is a good variety, and we certainly had no complaints about the food. The snack bar, however, is a different story. There isn't a huge amount of choice, and we didn't think the food there was particularly good.You are allocated a table on your first day, which I think is a really good idea. We had the same waiter, Yahya, for most of the week, and he was brilliant. By the second day, he already had our drinks order memorised, which was a lovely personal touch and really made us feel looked after.One negative was the drinks selection. We found that the drinks generally tasted as though they had been watered down, which was disappointing. There is, however, a bar called Bar 51 where you can purchase cocktails, and these were absolutely amazing.There is an issue with sunbeds if you want to be right next to the pool, as they get taken very quickly. However, we were quite happy to be a little further away, as the pool area can get quite noisy at times. A tip of a couple of dinars to the guys who put out the sunbeds and mattresses goes a long way. They will generally remember where you like to sit and reserve your preferred spot for you.   This is the 3rd time here in the last 4 years. The staff . Food and place is lovely. They have entertainment during the day like darts. Water aerobics and foam party. Also good entertainment in the evening.
