  5 star hotel which is more of 3 star.

  Arrived here on the 7th of June for 14nights.. our first arrival of the building was wow this is beautiful- we had our luggage removed from us as we approached the reception and was told we were to early for check in we would have to come back at 2pm.. off we went to look around for 4 hours until we could check in. We checked in to which we were never informed where anything was but just here’s your key someone will take you to room- which they did but no show where the restaurant or anything was just you just need to find your own way Onto the sunbed wars.. well this is a different story.. me and my partner are early risers so we’re down at pool 6.30/7 most days to which we were lucky to get sun beds but a lot of the time your Lucky to even get one at this time. So if you want a sunbed be prepared for an early start.The pool and surrounding is beautiful.. but then you want a drink- well never mind are the drinks a size of a shot glass which is no good when you have to spend the day at the bar instead of relaxing but the staff while trying to get one are rude. They are always walking round offering people drinks but only certain ones- you give a tip and you then don’t see them for the rest of the day. The room- I have heard a lot of people round the pool discuss that there rooms are not acceptable however we felt like ours was until… my partner got into bed and the bed sheets were dirty- none of the floors walls or sides were clean and the best one was I got in the shower which had been leaking for a couple of days to the shower glass popped off the glue- I reported to reception and they informed me someone would come- they did l, but did a quick repair to get us through the night and someone would come properly fix the next day- this is yet to be done.. I have put a sign on the door once to stay not to disrupt but the cleaner still just wandered in took the towels but never replaced- this happened more than once that no towels had been replaced and I’ve had to go looking for some. So far we have been here 11 days and only had one bed change which took them 7 days to do. The restaurant- I will start with breakfast- this is disappointing they do not change this up - no fruit- the juice machine is never working- only thing I like is the pancakes which is hard to get as they only cook so many of them then stop- lunch and tea- the food is very repetitive and quite often not stocked regularly- the ques for food are unbelievable and you have to ensure you are watching because the amount of people who just push through is unbelievable- I went to get some fruit at lunch time the other day to which I was hit by someone 3 times with a plate to move out there way which may I add a waiter watched and laughed but did not say anything and walked away. Some people are getting 6/7 plates of food before sitting down to eat and then people behind are not being able to get anything- the food which is cooked separately like pizza pasta you have to que for ages to get as they are not prepared before lunch or tea service are about to commence- I would like to give a special mention to Hedi and Basem who work in the restaurant they deserve there weight in gold for how good they are the only 5 star thing about the hotel. It feels like if you speak up and make a drama you get what you want but if you just sit back and try to enjoy the 3 star hotel not 5 star hotel then you just get nothing. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone- no I would not I would say stay well away and find something better.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Please everyone ignore the bad reviews about this place as they are not what they are portrayed to be honestly I don’t get what all the faf is about this place is absolutely outstanding 🙏🏽🙏🏽 there is a lot of negative reviews and I don’t understand why ? As we didn’t have anything negative about our stay or the rooms or the food or the entertainment the negative review are just not why people make it out to be The welcome we got when we arrived was so special as so many staff remembered us from last year and greeted us with such enthusiasm and kindness was nice to catch up with a lot of the staff Our room was absolutely out of this world we booked a suite and I must say WOW 🤩 I had my room overlooking the sea and what a view we had 🌌 what a room it was it was so clean and was cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries the bed was huge I mean massive we had sun lounges on our side balcony as I had 3 balconies due to booking the suit and I must say I was really impressed with our room and the lay out we had 3 toilets a kitchen a living area a separate bedroom massive wardrobes and a massive bathroom The privet beach that belong to just this hotel is stunning and always beds available the staff at the beach bar can not do enough for you always going out there way to ensure you have everything you need drinks snacks you name it they did it for you amazing the beach is so clean and they even do entertaining and games on the beach to witch I found brilliant 🤩 We’re so I begin from the start of my holiday we was welcomed with open arms smiles and pure joy the reception staff was so nice and helpful and always there when needed iv never met so many friendly individuals and always served us with the best service The staff in the dining room was so friendly and welcoming with pure joy and smiles on there faces always served us with 5 star service and really looked after us the food was really nice so much different variety even tho am the worse picky eater there is there was still loads to choose from can not complain about any of it The alcohol is what you expect with AI packages but was really enjoyable to drink even tho I do bring my own with me I still had cheeky cocktails from the bar witch was really nice to drink to 🥰 no complaints from us what so ever they do have you names branded drinks in the other bar over by the reception but you do unfortunately have to pay for these but still cater for everyone The cleaners were amazing and so friendly they can’t do enough for you always going out there way to ensure we had what we needed and that the room was always spotless they work effortlessly The security are really friendly and always ensured that we was safe and well looked after The entertainment team are phonomanal I absolutely adore each and every one of them they work so god dam hard from morning till night to ensure that each and every person enjoyed themselves and always have different activities on through out the day iv done so much and is so worth every second as it’s amazing and you will really enjoy taking part in the activities they deserve so much more for what they do they ensured that we had fun and always interacted and included everyone these guys made my holiday so special and always full of fun joy and smiles these guys deserve a medal for what they do honestly the best ever 🙏🏽 such friendly and respectful and beautiful people inside and out there energy and dedication to everyone is outstanding they work so hard to create an amazing atmosphere for each and every individual here these guys made our holiday special The evening entertainment was out of this world different shows every night and they was all amazing my favourite night was when we had the white party/foam party we had such a ball iv non stopped dancing since the moment I arrived I have made so many new friends/holiday family everyone is friendly and always up for good times I can not fault this place at all we have been coming for a few years now and keep returning due to how much each and every staff member look after you and ensure that you have the best holiday ever The shop on site has a lot to offer to so worth the visit Location is perfect as there is local shops around and also easy access into Sousse I just like to say thankyou to each and every one of you for making our holiday yet again one of the best by far this place will always hold a special place in my heart and of course it’s now becoming our annual holiday I will miss this place and all the staff as they have just made our holiday perfect yet again El Mouradi Palace you will always hold a special place in our hearts and thankyou yet again for the more incredible holiday ever we have memories that will last forever and of course I’ll be back over and over again Once again you guys take pride in everything you do out of this world honestly the best see you all again soon and keep being incredible we’ll do to you all CRM Department, Guest Services / Front Office at El Mouradi Palace, responded to this review Dear Terence M,Thank you very much for your outstanding review and for taking the time to share your experience at El Mouradi Palace.   The hotel animation staff are second to none here. They know how to entertain all ages and get everyone involved. Not too pushy and are a pleasure to be around.
