    Trip type: Friends getaway

    Disappointing stay and unprofessional staff.

    rating10 May 2025

Stayed there with my friend for 2 weeks. There is a swimming pool but unfortunately it is really small and shadowy all the time, therefore we couldn’t stay there for sunbathing or swimming. The hotel itself is not a very clean one and the housekeeping didn’t clean our room for 2 days nor they changed our bedsheets. Our room was on the fifth floor and the restaurant on the sixth floor. The music (live music) was very, very loud every night until morning time. There is wi-fi which it has a weak connection and on top of that one day it didn’t work at all so from 8am until 12pm. We had to continuously talk to the receptionist and ask for it to be fixed. She kept telling us that a technician will fix it and it will work in 5 minutes but it worked again after 4 hours. One day the girl from the room service didn’t bother to bring our change back, we had to call the reception few hours later and ask for it. We left on the 11th of May and once we went at the reception to leave our keycard the receptionist told us that we have to pay 8.300 TND from the 5th of May at 16:30 for some drinks that we had at the bar from the swimming pool. Told her that we have never been at the bar or swimming pool and every time we were ordering something in our room or if we ate at the restaurant we paid our bill every time. She didn’t believe us so she called the woman from the bar who didn’t believe us either until we showed them pictures from the 5th of May to prove that we were in Monastir that day until late evening. At the restaurant, Minyar was amazing all the time, her service was excellent but, unfortunately because of other things that happened during our stay we wouldn’t recommend this place. saaid , Service clients/Réception at Hotel Cesar Palace, responded to this review Dear Cristian,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your impressions following your stay at our establishment. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered, and we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We have carefully noted your comments regarding the cleanliness of the room, the size and location of the pool, as well as the noise from the restaurant. Hotel definitely not worth the 4*

    rating02 Aug 2024

The room we had to start with was very large, with 4 small double beds for myself and my 2 teenage daughters. However, it was very loud with the room facing the main road through Sousse. The air con didn't work properly and there was barely any WiFi throughout the hotel. The pool was lovely, although slightly dilapidated with a few tiles coming off. We had to change room halfway through the week due to the flush mechanism on the toilet not working. The hotel is rated as 4*; I would give it a 2, 3 with some work being done. Cesar’s sucks

    rating09 Nov 2021

Go somewhere else if you have a choice. Terrible customer service. We traveled with 2 people in wheel chairs. The entire complex is inaccessible. No ramps to conference area. What elevators they do have around stair areas are locked, not staffed and out of order. After standing in a huge line to check in the desk clerk told us the “the computers are always messed up”. When asking for directions to try to navigate around obstacles to wheel chair access staff was either rude or disinterested. Most staff seems overwhelmed. Toilet in room would not refill. Based on previous customer service experience was not worth reporting so we used bathroom in adjoining room. Would not stay here again for free. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
