    Old Floridian vibes

    rating02 Mar 2026

Do no waste your time and money. When you read the bad reviews, believe them. Im still puzzled at the rating (4/5) and pricing of this antiquated hotel.- old hotel with attempts to cheaply modernize. Think hot pink wall throughout hallways with cheap poster art work.- plastic-weaves "carpet" in the hotel rooms. Which also extends to restroom and toilet room. As you can imagine, many smells and stains are visible while sitting on the throne.- tv never had a signal. - king beds are two twin beds pushed together which you can feel.- seafood was fresh. Nothing else. - there was dog feces outside the elevator door on our floor. Pullman Cannes, Marketing at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us.We regret to read that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Solid mid-range hotel in the Mandelieu strip

    rating05 Oct 2025

This is a family hotel located on the Mandalieu strip. Whilst is is not new, it has been refreshed a bit to the location and Pullman style, with interesting and kitschy artwork. It has valet parking, its own pool and a big breakfast for its guests. Rooms are neat and clean with comfortable beds, generous towels, and amenities (cotton buds, shower caps etc). They are not extraordinarily designed, but utilitarian and comfortable for a summer holiday. Rooms facing the water are lovely and sunny so you can enjoy the view for hours on your balcony. Housekeeping staff are efficient, and helpful too. Valet parking was easy and costs €22 per day – seldom had to wait more than a few minutes for the car which was nice. Restaurants open late (the outside Blue Lemon bar) which was nice for us to have a late dinner although service took a bit of time. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of options hot and cold, grilled pineapple and apples which was a treat for us, and nice jams and honey (vs the industrial stuff). Turnaround of tables was understandably slow during the crazy hours but the dining room was big enough to manage. Reception was helpful and accommodating, helping with any questions or details. It’s a shame the balcony next to the reception was not open as it would have been a nice place to sit. The only complaint about the hotel is that the lifts can be a bit slow so we walked a few times. Whilst the hotel is not new or luxurious, it is very comfortable for a summer holiday. Guests were of all types, families, couples, groups of friends. Did not notice any tour groups.Summer prices can be steep but no worse than other places in the area. Having available parking and the amenities, access directly to the beach is unique and close walk to the restaurant makes it worth it. Gave it 5 stars as it is a solid offering in the area. Alessandro CRESTA, Directeur général at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your thoughtful review following your recent stay at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu. We are delighted to hear that you found our hotel to be a solid choice for your summer holiday, and we appreciate your kind words regarding our rooms, breakfast and the efficiency of our housekeeping and reception teams. We acknowledge your feedback about the slow lifts and the balcony next to the reception not being open. Your insights are important to us as we continuously strive to enhance our guests' experiences. We are glad that you enjoyed the view from your balcony and the amenities we provide. We are pleased that you found our valet parking service convenient and that you appreciated our breakfast offerings. Poor service and an experience with a rat ruined the stay .

    rating20 Sept 2025

Very disappointed with this hotel . Lots of extras charged including sunbeds even those on the hotel premises . The sunbeds currently cost 40 euros per person per day. The beds are open for rental to the general public which means they are often taken as the area around the pool is not that large . The staff appear very miserable every where especially around pool and service is definitely not with a smile. I found it difficult to open the gate to the pool after my swim and asked the lifeguard who was lying on a sunbed near me for help and he was extremely rude and reluctant to help. But what totally ruined my experience was that a rat kept running up and down where the sunbeds were and when my husband got up to go for a swim it ran on to my sunbed and onto my arm an experience not easily forgotten. I reported it to the manager who said there was nothing they could do about it they lived in the rocks but this particular rat seemed to live in a bush next to a row of sunbeds on the hotel premises but he didn’t seem interested . The reception staff were an exception to my statement about the staff and were pleasant and helpful. Alessandro CRESTA, Directeur général at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your experience at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu. Regarding the beach, it is true that the sunbeds require a supplement, as all the others four stars hotels on the French Riviera. However, as hotel guest, you benefit preferential rates so prices start at only 30€. We strive to provide you the best services, so if we can, stay assured that we will find you a sunbed. But in rough day, we truly have a lot of reservations, even if you have seen empty chairs. Moreover, we are truly sorry for the incident you encountered and fully understand the discomfort and distress it may have caused. Our seaside location can occasionally lead to certain external inconveniences beyond our control; however, please rest assured that we take this matter very seriously. Following your feedback, we immediately reinforced the intervention of our specialized partners to secure our outdoor areas and ensure the beach and surroundings are perfectly maintained. We are also pleased to know that you appreciated the comfort of our rooms as well as the hotel’s unique location. Please be assured that our priority remains to make every aspect of your stay meet your expectations. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust during a future stay and remain at your full disposal to personally assist with its organization.Best regards.Marie VOYERGuest Experience Manager

    rating14 Aug 2025

We had booked only two nights here, planning to extend our stay if it went well. Thankfully, we didn’t. The service was absolutely terrible from start to finish. We arrived one day at around 10:00 PM. The hotel advertises that the restaurant is open until 10:30 PM, and that outside there are still chefs working until 11:00 or even 11:30 PM, plus room service. So, naturally, we went to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were told they had decided to close early “because it was empty.” We then went to the outside area where the chefs were supposedly still working. Instead of being welcomed, we were stared at and ignored by staff passing by. When we finally managed to speak to someone, they told us they had already closed at 10:00 PM because there were only two chefs working that day.We explained we hadn’t eaten and asked where we could get food. The answer? “I can’t do anything for you.” We suggested ordering something from outside and eating it at the hotel since we were hungry and had nowhere else to go at that hour. The response was shocking: they told us if we brought outside food in, they would call security and have us thrown out. They even said, word-for-word, that if we wanted to eat, we could “eat it on the sidewalk outside the hotel” because “as long as you’re not in the hotel, we don’t care.” Completely disrespectful. In the end, we literally had to sit outside the hotel to eat.The next day, we had a massage booked. We arrived exactly on time, only to be told the masseur “wasn’t there.” Not because he called in sick — they just didn’t bother to inform us. When we asked why they didn’t notify us earlier, the staff said, “I forgot.” This is beyond unprofessional.Throughout our stay, we were often ignored at dining areas, including breakfast. Staff seemed uninterested in helping guests, and they even tried to add extra charges to our bill.Overall, this is one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Rude, unhelpful staff, no accountability, and no respect for guests. We were planning to extend our stay, but after this experience, we couldn’t leave fast enough. Alessandro CRESTA, Directeur général at Pullman Cannes Mandelieu, responded to this review Dear Mr Shako,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Your comments do not reflect the usual quality of service we strive to provide and we will conduct an internal review to understand what may have happened. If you give us the opportunity to win back your trust, we will be happy to offer you the best that our guests enjoy every day.Best regards.Marie VOYERGuest Experience Manager

4 star reception, 3 star room

    rating26 Jul 2025

The reception area looked great and the staff were great. However, the rooms could do with some attention. The sunrise pierced through the holes in the curtains and although I was on a high floor, an invasion of ants was not welcome (especially in my bed). My stay was short, so it was good enough as a place to lay my head at night. I didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food or drinks.
