The location is perfect. Near everything you want to see and walking distance to the train station. The staff is welcoming. Special thanks to Nicolas. I traveled with my 90 year old mother and we stayed in an accessible room. It was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast was good.

The perfect small French hotel!

The hotel was a great combination of local flavor, perfect location and overall nice hotel. It’s not the highest end hotel but that is not what we wanted. We wanted that French historic hotel feel, and that’s what we got. It had the spiral staircase, small elevators, great breakfast and excellent staff - in particular Bilal who was the front desk clerk for the graveyard shift. Because of jet lag, I would wake up very early and spend an hour or so talking with Bilal about Avignon and suggested places to visit. He was so helpful, nice and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a good hotel in the heart of old Avignon with a great staff, I would highly recommend this hotel! We will certainly be going back to Avignon and staying at this hotel again.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable and clean. It’s an awkwardly shaped building so crooked hallways and odd room layout. Front desk staff are very friendly and helped me with a check in change as wetas restaurant advice. Breakfast buffet quite good.

Great location, but hotel needs some work

This hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of town. We stayed 5 nights. After our first night we discovered in the morning that there virtually was no water pressure in the shower, so they moved us to a different room. We had a beautiful view of the Pope’s Palace. The hotel needs some renovations. Everything is a bit banged up. But as said, the location is the best and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
