  Avoid this place – cleanliness is non-existent

  I recently stayed here with a friend and was honestly shocked by the state of the room. We walked in to find [stained carpets/hair in the bathroom/dust everywhere], and the overall hygiene was well below basic standards. For the price they charge, you’d expect a clean environment, but this felt neglected.   Worst Service Ever & Zero Sleep

  Check-in took nearly an hour despite the lobby being empty. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. The walls are paper-thin—I could hear every word of the conversation in the next room and people stomping in the hallway all night. I asked for a quieter room and was told they were 'full,' yet their website showed plenty of availability.   I have been meaning to write this review for a few months now, i've been busy but this has to be done (and i can tick this box off as completed before I go into the new year). anyway... I went with my 2 kids aged 16 girl and boy 3. We had such a great time!! This is our 2nd time in Tunisia and my kids are always asking to go back there. The hotel: 1 indoor pool and 3 outdoor pools including the private section of the beach. one of the pools was more lively with lots of entertainment, music, games/ board games. there is another pool practically next to this one but you'd maybe use this if you wanted some of the entertainment but not to be in the heart of it. the 3rd outdoor pool is next to the beach (a 2-3 min walk from the hotel building), this pool is more quieter but beautifully set up. the beach has lovely golden sand with the straw umbrellas. The beach has never ben too busy neither, so no fighting for loungers. I got a room on the top floor and it was so spacious, bathroom was perfectly fine with loads of space. certain part of the room you could see had small fixtures done but was not a problem at all. we had 2 balconies aswell. Facilities:Loads to keep you occupied, there was a number of tennis courts, the pools, volley ball, mini golf for the kids, archery, board games around the pool, live shows from the staff every night (which they really put good effort into), disco for the kids every night. My son who is normally quite shy, really came out of his shell and loved getting involved. parasailing, jet skis and other beach sports right at our point of entry on the beach. Camel riding, quad biking, boat trip. I believe thy have more facilities but that's all I can think of right now. Food:wide variety of food, something for everyone. from Tunisian cuisine to your chips (which were very moreish), pizza, pasta. meat was also grilled on the BBQ outside on some days. breakfast had your choice of cooked and cold/ fresh foods. the desserts... I mean.. I need to go back for more lol. all inclusive are your 3 set meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and snacks/ drinks by the pool. there is an indoor bar and 2 outdoor by the pool/ beach. when we was there they made fresh pancakes with chocolate sauce, fruits and pastries. I didn't try their alcohol, but they had tea and soft drinks in abundance. YOU WILL NOT BE HUNGRY!!! Staff:Absolute BEST!! I cannot fault not one staff member at all! everyone was so pleasant, decent, kind, helpful. from the cleaners to the receptionists, the chefs, and most importantly the staff who put on the shows and interact with you throughout the days. They work so hard! they're up early till late. so happy to help with anything. great with the kids. they put in so much effort into their dance routines for the shows they put on every night. I really do hope they are paid well and given bonus' because they are the heart of this hotel! each and every one of them!! Weather: I went in March 2025 for 7 days and i tanned beautifully! it was weird because i didn't even realise it was hot like that until i saw my tan lines. Room for improvement:The only thing I didn't really like was the indoor pool had a funny smell to it. i had to pass it everyday of my stay and it always smelt weird in the corridor passing it. I never flagged it to anyone so I never gave them an opportunity to fix it or tell me what it was.. it may not have been the pool. My logic led me to believe it was the pool though. It put me off of using it, but this was not a problem as there was alot of other stuff to keep us occupied and other pools to use. ________________________________I want to add that I met some holiday goers during my stay who didn't share the same sentiment that I did in enjoying the holiday. One family for example said there was nothing to do there, so I kindly suggested they do a water sport and they said no they'll wait till they get back to the UK to do it. I came on the same flight as this family and I realised that they stayed in their room the whole week.. only came out for meals. Some people write reviews/ have opinions but lack self awareness of their own incapability's. They also said there's nothing to eat, when there really is. And if your a fussy eater, those chips alone will see you through. I didn't enjoy everything on offer but I could always find something I liked. I paid £690 for myself and 2 kids via TUI in march 2025. this was for flights, transfers to hotel and airport, hotel, all inclusive. A BARGAIN!!! You cannot expect a Ritz experience for that price, if you're anything like me, I love to find deals and always expect a certain level of service/ cleanliness. I am not a hostel kinda gal, so don't think I am satisfied with anything. My point here though is, if your expecting a really high service then you should probably know better than paying such a low price for that, and you'd do better paying a couple thousand going to the Caribbean for that all star experience.If you're looking for a nice holiday on a budget then consider this hotel. Its not your silver service, fine dining, extra classy experience but it definitely gets the job done. I had a great time with the kids and we hope to be back in 2026.
