I stayed here for 2 nights as part of an event with a large group. I think it's important to be clear about the current condition and services of the hotel. When it was built I'm sure this was nice for it's time but it is now quite tired. In the rooms I had the showers we're broken and I know other people had problems with AC. The food is very average indeed. The bar area is small and quite loud when they are playing live music. This hotel is like a 2* beach hotel in Spain. Poor quality of food, breakfast and dinner horrible. Try to choose another. Actually all the 'el mouradi' chain hotels are poor, dirty, and less stars they show. Old fashioned, not very clean... in the era of devices, just one plug at the room. To start with the toilets weren't properly cleaned when I first entered the room. The service is horrible the receptionist was yelling at the phone. And later when came dinner time ( I am not a picky eater) the food sucked there are choices but all of it equally suck. At the bar, the bartender told us they he only has concentrated juice to make cocktails so if u love drinks and food this place is a no no. Now moreover the guests and and staff all eat in the same place. Standard hotel not far from downtown Tozeur.

Stayed for two nights as part of a group Grand Tour of Tunisia. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned and could do with refurbishing. Staff are friendly throughout the hotel. The restaurant meals (buffet style) are OK but not great. An extraordinary hotel in the desert

Tozeur is unforgettable. A place in the middle of the Sahara desert. Tozeur was an important Numidian town on the ancient caravan route between Vescra (modern Biskra, in Algeria) and Tacapae (modern Gabès [Qabis], in Tunisia). Her architectural style is unique, playing with bricks of sand and clay. And in this desert paradise is located this wonderful hotel, which offers opportunities for a relaxed vacation. Located in the stillness of the Sahara Desert, the El Mouradi Touzer Resort is the ideal resort in Tunisia for a luxurious escape. This refined hotel in the desert, surrounded by palm trees and next to a beautiful pool, offers real enjoyment with quality wine. It is located opposite the Oasis Tozeur golf course and 6 km from the coast of Chott el Djerid (salt lake). The room is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The rooms are bright and have a balcony, satellite TV and a mini-fridge. The rooms are decorated in Moorish style and are beautiful. The apartments have a separate living room. Family rooms accommodate up to 4 people. Each room is equipped with air conditioning. There are also two bars and two cafes, as well as an elegant restaurant. The breakfast is varied and extremely tasty, based on local Tunisian cuisine, but also on international cuisine. Dinner on the basis of buffet service is extremely good, tasty and versatile. The staff is exceptional, attentive and professional.
