  Perfect location in the heart of La Clusaz

  Firstly the hotel is located right in the middle of the village and is no more than a 5 min walk from everywhere that matters in La Clusaz. The hotel is a picturesque chalet style hotel which offers both charm and practicality. the rooms are nice and contain everything that you need and the restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and highly accomodating, even during carnival when they were fully booked they found a way to accomodate us as guests of the hotel. staff were lovely and tried to do everything they could to support us. the hotel does have a noisy stream outside which can't be helped. the carpets could do with updating but in every other sense this is the perfect location to stay in La Clusaz

  Avoid, expensive bland food

  Not staying at the hotel but booked a table here for dinner as it looked nice and not too expensive. Service was incredibly slow, we had to wait over 40 mins from sitting at our table to being asked for drinks order or having any menus. Drinks ( two glasses of wine) took another 10 minutes to arrive. Restaurant was busy but not full. Food choice was ok, soup and my teriyaki beef starters were excellent. My Main course a " Bistro burger" at 24E, was dry, undercooked and very bland. No flavour at all, left most of it ! My partners main course "goats cheese salad" was very expensive and mediocre. Will not return here when next in La Clusaz Glass of gamy at 7E was nice and good value

  Great location in the heart of the village, only 7 minutes to the ski lift. Ski room available.The hotel is slightly dated, but the rooms have renovated bathrooms and everything is very clean and well maintained.The restaurant deserves a special mention, delicious and refined food. We booked half board and were very satisfied.Highly recommended!

  Christmas week in La Clusaz

  Stayed for a week organised via ski company Inghams. Saturday to Saturday over the Christmas celebrations.The hotel is ideally located to the centre of the main town.Easy walking to the gondola stations and to one of the main chairlifts.Easy closeby free transport to cross country ski area and other local ski areas, Grand Bornand, Cross Fry.The hotel is a small, very efficient run place to stay.The food, the staff, the room and facilities were brilliant.I cannot fault any part of our stay here.It was a great place to stay/ski/walk in the French Alpes.

  We stayed for 5 nights and ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and once for breakfast.Food was excellent on all occasions and staff were very helpful and provided great service. Check in and check out were completed without issues. Room was "snug" and the lift needs replacing.
