    DONT COME HERE

    rating03 Sept 2024

I am stuck here with my family. We waited 25 minutes for forks and didn't get any. We waited 15 minutes for dishes. The food is absolutely rubbish. Prison food!!!Everything is handled by security, and you can't talk to the staff here. Earlier a group of thuggish looking Algerians highjacked the swimming pool and spent more than an hour screaming and shouting and diving in the pool, some with their clothes still on. Security did not intervene. It's not safe here. People come here in buses and the hotel seems to be not very selective as it comes to its guest. They would accept any body who's ready to pay. This is a total disaster.

Avoid this hotel, it's a major disaster

    rating19 Jul 2023

I visited this hotel before in 2018, and it was acceptable. That's why I returned to it when I found a reasonable price for night. However, my experience this time was terrible. I spent two hours waiting for the room, and they sent us to a distant location away from the hotel. The room was old with a TV from the 1980s, and the air conditioner was not working. The biggest disaster was the restaurant. It was a tragedy; there was a long queue for mediocre spaghetti and pastries, and I have no idea why. It took forever just to get a plate. If you decide to go to the beach, it's dirty, and there are no umbrellas. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel; stay away from it altogether."

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, avoid at all costs!

    rating04 Sept 2019

Due to working in travel for 20+ years I have encountered many hotels all over the world including several deprived areas of the world, this though is easily the worst hotel I have ever been unfortunate enough to stay in. I have never written a bad review of a hotel I have stayed in before but this one truly deserves it.When we booked this hotel we looked at the reviews here, each year we do this and can usually see past the bad reviews as they are usually something petty. As there weren’t a great deal of recent reviews at the time and the complaints seemed minor, we decided to go with this hotel.Firstly, let’s start with the positives, sorry I mean positive, the beach is very nice, that is it.When we arrived at the hotel we were just dumped at some gates and we had to make our own way down a track to what appeared to be a car park which was actually the reception, not a great first impression. We then went into reception which was less than inviting, we were then told that we had two rooms for 4 people when there were 6 of us! We were told to wait for a couple of hours, to kill the time we had a walk around and tried to get some food. The hotel was the dirtiest hotel, it was unbelievable. It got worse though, we ventured into the dining area for some lunch, pointless really as there was a couple of bits of bread, a couple of bowls of salad, some indistinguishable meat and some random vegetable dish. What was there was getting snapped up by the other guests who were just piling the plates high and leaving us with the scraps which were truly horrendous. For your info the dinners were exactly the same and for breakfast you could not get any cereal, you could though get a very undercooked egg if you were lucky. We ended up surviving on crisps for the time we stayed there. We then went to the bar (the only all-inclusive bar at the hotel, approx. 10 minute walk to the beach from it!), my wife was given a coke (only fizzy drink available!) in a very cracked glass. Only one spirit available which you were given if you asked for a gin or vodka, and it was undrinkable. We went back to reception to be told that our rooms were ready, we walked in, the beds were not made up, there was the previous occupiers rubbish and other items left in the room and it had not been cleaned. Even the boys who took our luggage to the room were embarrassed about it. We were made to wait another 90 minutes whilst the maid made the room up, basically she just made the beds up and didn’t make any attempt at cleaning. The newly fitted sheets were stained and filthy. We decided at this point to not even bother unpacking as we knew we had to find another hotel. We decided to have shower, surprise surprise, no hot water, not even lukewarm. We then used the toilet and noticed that the pipes were all cracked and there was raw sewerage just leaking onto the floor. This hotel is certainly not aimed at the UK market, approx. %95 of the guests were Algerian, 2 of whom we spoke to. They travel to Tunisia every year for their holiday, they lasted a day there before leaving, their comments pretty much mirrored mine and were appalled by this hotel. We now realise that as there are not many UK guests this is why there are not many reviews for this hotel. When we approached reception with regards to the state of our room and the cracked toilet, they just shrugged their shoulders as if we were in the wrong to mention it to them. Their attitude was astounding and they had no regard for the health and safety of my family, 2 adults, 3 teenagers and an 11-year-old. It was clear they had no time for the UK guests and were solely focused on the Algerians. The staff here are very rude and very very unhelpful. If you do decide to go to this hotel, prepare for the worst, even then I do not think it will live up to that expectation. Also, if you have daughters tell them that guests (men and women) will stare at them and then nudge other people to stare at them due to their attire, it was very unsettling for my daughter and her friend (both 15). Also you are very confined to this hotel as it is literally miles away from anywhere or anything.Obviously, we didn’t stay long at this hotel. Please take my advice and do not go anywhere near this hotel.

    Not impressed

    rating03 Sept 2019

This hotel is extremely run down , it was mainly catering for Algerians and the food was discussing, the Algerian holiday makers were rude and aggressive, the main pool was green when we enquired about this we were told it was due to so many people using it !! 2 of my children developed ear infection from it On a positive tho the animation crew were amazing
