    Electricity Gremlin on Kloof

    rating18 Aug 2025

After the friendly welcome things went pear shaped from there. Our room contained an electricity Gremlin. When you put the bathroom light off, the room light would go on. We had to leave the bathroom light on all night and it lit up the room through a glass panel. At 3 a.m. the room light decided to go on unexpectedly. The remote did not switch off the television and the one side lamp also had a faulty switch. Breakfast provided the smallest piece of sausage I have yet encountered on a breakfast plate. I showed colleagues a picture and like Wally, asked them to find the sausage. Finally, being a local, I was shocked to be told that there cheapest bottle of wine at there bar was R450. This is more than 400% mark up?

UNSAFE- No keys no one at reception

    rating22 Jun 2025

NOT SAFEUNSAFE, waited outside for over 5 minutes to be buzzed into the premise. when I asked for front doors keys the receiptionist refused to give. Saying they would buzz you in, if they couldn't be attenditive to the buzzer during the day how would they be attentive to the buzzer at night timeAnyone can take a knife to you as there are many homeless people in sea point, and Rob you while the attendant come to open the door.. Keys are a MUST and not an option in this areaSea point area has a 65% rise in crime I have read NOW that this incident occured. However the manager a TAMMY JOY has refused to refund me, and does not care about clients SAFETY only getting income,She has even threaten BOOKING staff my saying the followingWe received no phone calls despite claims otherwise;* We were given unreasonable 30-minute deadlines at midnight, on public holidays;* We warned Booking.com of serious security concerns over email-based communication, having received fraudulent emails in the past that mimicked Booking.com formats;* We were not afforded a fair or timely opportunity to respond before refunds were processed — in violation of the partner agreement and booking policies. We are again requesting that matters like this be escalated through proper channels, with secure, direct contact and appropriate timelines for review and response. Please confirm:IS this a place where you should stay where the place does not care about ones SAFETY only earning income...Please look at other places..My Advise

    Great stay in Cape Town

    rating24 May 2025

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, the breakfast was lovely, accompanied with breathtaking views, and the pool downstairs was a real treat. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Cape Town

The friendliness and willingness of this hotel from the moment you arrive till you leave is amazing!!

    rating21 Mar 2025

We choose this hotel as a place to stay for seven nights whilst we visited Cape Town. It seems small but it is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are well appointed large and have Jacuzzi on the balcony, great air-conditioning everything that you could want and more importantly the staff and manager make this hotel amazing. There’s only a few of them but boy do they work their socks off to give you whatever you want with an amazing South African Cape Town smile we would highly recommend anyone staying here. My only caveat is, why do they need to know what you want for breakfast from 5:30 pm the night before it’s breakfast it’s not difficult and toast with…..We a couple of times actually ventured out just down the road for Breakfast because that’s what we like to do and there is so much choice but we would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again.Nailed a glowing and well deserved 5* review!! I would return!

Great potential but a little tired and could do with a refresh do with a refresh

    rating11 Mar 2025

Positives: This hotel was in a great location. Staff were helpful and accomodating.Good Spa services. Negatives:The room we booked was quite expensive and for the price we expected abitpre chic. Hotel and rooms are a bit tired, and could do with a little facelift. No flannelsBody lotion was watered down.Breakfast was also disappointing for a 4 star rated hotel.
