  Mostly very good

  14 Mar 2026

Pros: outstanding in many ways. great room. clean room, friendly staff. good frig and safe. excellent shower and hot water. great location. Wifi mostly great but agonizingly slow on our last day. Bathroom has a heated towel rack. cons: the street it is on is a party street. on saturday nights hundreds of people are playing drums, horns, guitars and singing and revving motorcycles. Sunday through tuesday they're only doing it until about 10:30 pm. no problem if you want to stay up late or join themI ordered the swordfish and it was the worst fish i have ever had. just terrible. Included breakfast has great orange juice and good hard boiled eggs. the rest of the food is good if you like Tunisian foodwhen we went to check out , they had someone elses food order on our bill. it took about 15 minutes of arguing to fix it. This is one of those hotels where you definitately need to ask to see your bill the night before you check out. Your comments have been shared with our kitchen team so we can review this and improve.Regarding the billing issue at checkout, please accept our apologies for the confusion. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will reinforce our procedures to prevent this from happening again.Thank you again for your constructive feedback. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an even better experience in the future.Kind regards.Haythem DHAOUIFront Desk Manager

Every dish was prepared with care, and the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. The hotel itself is just as impressive clean, comfortable, and full of character.Overall, it’s a perfect place for anyone looking for excellent food, great service, and a luxurious stay in Tunis. Pure Serenity at La Villa Bleue

  08 Nov 2025

My stay at La Villa Bleue was simply unforgettable. Perched on the cliffs of Sidi Bou Said, the hotel offers breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea — the kind of scenery that looks like it belongs on a postcard. Every corner of this place exudes charm, from its traditional Tunisian architecture to the peaceful blue-and-white décor that perfectly matches the spirit of the village. The service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring without ever feeling intrusive. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and at home. They were always smiling, always helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations. The atmosphere was serene and elegant, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a luxurious yet authentic Tunisian experience. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, or watching the sunset paint the sky in shades of gold and pink, every moment feels magical.La Villa Bleue isn’t just a hotel — it’s a true experience of beauty, culture, and hospitality. Avoid this Grossly Overrated Bistro Hotel

  03 Nov 2025

This is a poorly run hotel. It is not worth the visit. Much better gorgeous bistro hotels in the Medina in Tunis. Rooms are small and tired. All are under a common area- mine was under the bar. Im not an unsophisticated complainer, but expect noise from breakfast n until 9pm. ( breakfast in the bar and bar terrace). Staff equates "exclusive" service as disinterest. Or hide their lack of knowledge in arrogance. I've stayed at more 5 star rated hotels worldwide than these souls have. A true 5 star hotel is beautiful AND " how may we make your stay perfect". Contact La Villa Bleue Sidi Bou Saïd, Service clients/Réception at La Villa Bleue, responded to this review Dear Madam/Sir,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, even though we are sorry to read that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that you had booked a Superior Room, which is one of our mid-range categories. Our property offers several categories of rooms and suites, some of which reach up to 75 square metres, in order to accommodate the different preferences and needs of our guests. Our rooms are spread across four levels, which gives the hotel its unique character. Some are located near the lounge, an area reserved for our in-house guests, where we serve breakfast, aperitifs, and coffee throughout the day. We are sorry if this layout caused any inconvenience during your stay.We have also taken note of your comments regarding our service and will share them with our team to continue improving the quality of our hospitality. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and offer you a more enjoyable experience next time.Kind regards.Haythem DHAOUIFront Desk Manager

Beautiful boutique hotel in lovely setting

  21 Oct 2025

I’m genuinely at a loss as to why recent reviews aren’t more favourable. This was one of the most delightful small hotels we’ve stayed in for a while, full of character, and boasting perhaps the best spot in this ridiculously beautiful white-washed Mediterranean village, just steps away from a stunning viewpoint overlooking the sea. The room was huge; breakfast delicious; and staff thoroughly helpful and friendly (if a little slow with drinks service). Our first view of the terrace where breakfast is served was just incredible. I’d return in a heartbeat and would recommend unreservedly. Contact La Villa Bleue Sidi Bou Saïd, Service clients/Réception at La Villa Bleue, responded to this review Dear Mr RobThank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, appreciated our unique setting, and felt the charm of our little hotel.
