I have just spent 11 nights at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it for a family or as a solo I was in a solo room but I was here with 3 of my family members the rooms and the hotel were clean and well maintained grounds The staff are helpful and very polite they always had a smile on their faces except 1 poolside member who looked like he was not really enjoying his job. the food all though limited selection it was different everyday My only gripe would be there was never enough coffee in my room so I ended up going and buying some as I do drink a lot of coffee Guest Relations, Müsteri Hizmetleri / Ön Büro at Esra Family Suit Hotel - Didim, AltInkum, responded to this review Dear Mark S,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at Esra Family Suite Hotel. It was just ok, we personally wouldn't return. The staff were lovely but hotel is just standard nothing special, pools aren't really big enough for the amount of guests especially the entertainment pool it was crammed, we spent our time around the "quiet pool" but it was still busy. We did have to get up at 6am for subbeds as the first day we didn't the only available ones were at the very back next to the snack bar (busy when open) and next to a very loud speaker. The food was just ok, our children struggled as did many others, living on spaghetti and chips for the week (mine are usually good eaters). Lots of drama around the hotel with visitors, kids causing havoc and parents leaving them to it. Basically you get what you pay for. Lovely town and beach near by and sky bar across the road if you need to escape the madness for abit (we certainly did). We also discovered on the last day someone else's key opens our door, when a young boy entered our room by accident. As a result, pool areas can become busy during peak hours. Our sunbed capacity is planned according to the hotel's overall guest capacity, and reserving sunbeds with personal belongings is not an official hotel practice. The situation you experienced on your first day was therefore not the result of a hotel policy allocating sunbeds in advance.Regarding the food, our restaurant offers a rotating selection of Turkish and international dishes within our all-inclusive concept. We appreciate that children's preferences can differ considerably, and your comments regarding variety have been noted.You also mention noise and children behaving disruptively. As a family-oriented hotel, we naturally have many children staying with us, particularly during the summer season. While our team intervenes when inappropriate behaviour is reported, the supervision and behaviour of children ultimately remain the responsibility of their parents.We would also like to address the matter concerning the room key. Guest room security is extremely important to us. A situation in which another guest's key could open an occupied room is not part of our normal operating procedure and would require immediate technical and security investigation. We therefore take this particular observation seriously.We respect your decision not to return, although we are glad that you found our staff friendly and enjoyed the location and surrounding area. We had a wonderful stay at Esra Hotel from the last week of August into the first week of September. The food was great with plenty of options and the dining staff were so friendly and welcoming, always taking the time to talk to us, they truly made us feel so comfortable. The service manager was so kind and the warm smiles made us feel so welcome. The location is also great, the beach is close and the hotel is very peaceful especially at night which we appreciated.We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place highly.Tesekkür ederiz ve yakinda tekrar gelmeyi umuyoruz.
