  Great friendly Hotel

  Hello to the staff at Panormos hotel. We are Margaret & Des Cleary and we stayed from 12th August for a week and celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The staff & management made it so special.Special mention to Mehmet who looked after us in the restaurant such a lovely experience, food was exceptional and you made us feel so welcome. George at the bar always had a smile and service was excellent. Enis and all the waiters & bar staff are so friendly and helpful.John on reception.Serap the manager, thank you for all your kindness, what more can I say you have a lovely team of staff who go out of their way to please the people staying at this hotel and I’m sure you have their respect for your management and excellent customer service.We hope to return and have this lovely experience again.All our very best wishes to you all and thankyou for a lovely holiday.MargaretLovely clean spacious rooms. Added bonus of a fridge & air con. Comfy beds with crisp clean linen and quality white towels. Special mention to the maids for spotless housekeeping.Walkable to bars beach & restaurants. Regular buses to ruins of an ancient temple Apollo which is about 20mins journey.Beach, bars and restaurants all close 15 - 20 mins walk. Bus stops right outside hotel.Food at the hotel is excellent plenty of choice and always delicious.You won’t find a friendly hotel with so many extra good points.

  We visited the pool area at Panormos Hotel in Didim as a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 13) on July 29th 2026.Before entering, the pool staff explicitly confirmed via a phone call to the reception/management that the entry fee was 500 TL per person, which would be fully credited against our restaurant consumption (Minimum Spend / Spending Card system). The children did not even use the pool.Our actual bill for food and drinks came to a total of 2,780 TL. Since this amount easily covered the 1,000 TL minimum spend for the two adults, our final payment should have been exactly 2,780 TL. However, the hotel secretly charged our credit card a total of 4,780 TL!When we demanded the detailed receipts, we caught them red-handed:They had manually added a flat fee of 1,000 TL on card 1 and another 1,000 TL on card 2 as hidden extra costs, completely ignoring their own rules.The female manager (who claimed she has been there for 5 years) became extremely aggressive and hostile when confronted. She silenced her own colleague who tried to speak, suddenly lied that the fee was 750 TL (even though the hotel's official social media states 500 TL), and repeatedly shouted at us to "go somewhere else like "Walnut Garden" and never come back.She literally told us that we were the first guests to ever actually look at and question the receipt.This proves that they possibly successfully rip off blind-paying tourists on a daily basis.We stayed calm but firm and only received our 2,000 TL back in cash after a heavy 30-minute argument.The manager quickly tried to throw the receipts into the trash to destroy the evidence, but I quickly reached out and said I want to keep them. (Added a picture)Check every single line on your bill if you visit this place, or better yet: avoid this scammy establishment altogether!On top of the fake pool fees, the prices on the physical menus provided to us were completely outdated and did not match the final system billing. They use these misleading menus to overcharge guests at the end. I have attached photos of the menu – don't let them trick you.For example;Red Bull on the Menu 160TL, price charged was 190TL.Please check added pictures??

  What an absolutely fantastic budget friendly hotel. Located on the boulevard it is so central to everywhere you would want or need to go! Such a friendly atmosphere from all staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a great holiday. The guests are mostly people who have stayed in panormos before (if this is your first time you will def return) meaning there is such a genuine feel of friendship I’ve met lots of people of all ages . Couples but even people who are traveling solo who are made to feel part of the group . The rooms whilst basic have everything you need even with the added bonus of a fridge which the staff replenish throughout your trip , kettle and tea /coffee making area , tv & hairdryer. Even some lovely extras like the hotels own soap /toiletry products. The place is immaculately clean with plenty of fresh bedding and towels. Nothing is too much bother. The staff are excellent at their jobs and very attentive. The hotel manager Serap is always available for any help you may need . I stayed bed and breakfast and I could not complain about the choice of standard of breakfast . The chef is even available to make fresh fried eggs or the omelette of your choice. The food you can order is absolutely great value and standard meaning if mobility was an issue you would be well catered for onsite. I can highly recommend this hotel. This was my second stay but def won’t be my last !

  My wife and I have visited Panomos many times over 20 years. We have never had a bad holiday. Fantastic, friendly staff, clean rooms that have been improved and updated over the years. Excellent restaurant and food, and the best pool in Altinkum. We love the place.
