  Simply the best

  Absolutely love it been coming for many years to Tuntas hotel. Fantastic management and staff food fabulous wouldn’t go anywhere else so many British and Turkish friends meet up every year. Brilliant staff can’t do enough to help my husband is partly disabled and everyone from the boys in the restaurant to the pool staff bar are always at hand to help reception team are fantastic Housekeepers keep our rooms spotless especially Nilgun with fruit and flowers in our room Pelin is fab with the brill entertainment. Also Erhan on the beach and jetty can’t do enough to help us With grateful thanks also to Mustafa Cem, and the manager Sadik and his family absolutely brilliant the beach is fantastic and the jetty whew what can I say So much to see. Can’t wait for next May xxxx

  Absolutely a no go hotel

  Let’s start with the positives, the location was great,right on the beach, the shops and restaurants were only a short walk away, the waiting and bar staff were reasonably good when not on their phones.Thats the positives,now for the negatives,first off the food was awful, every meal was cold, the dishes were repetitive,the only cold meat available for the salad was spam, plastic chicken slices or pastrami,the sweets were cakes,cakes and more cakes, there was one sort of fresh fruit.the soup was about the only hot dish, to be fair the salad bar ( breakfast,lunch and dinner) was always the same but a good variety.Next, the water in our rooms from the tap was always cold,if you were lucky you may get a Luke warm shower.The cleaning of our room ,clean bedding and towels only happened if you asked at reception despite putting out your request on your door.The internet was very intermittent,you could be connected one minute then disconnected next.The swimming pool was 3 metres deep all the way around so if you couldn’t swim then you couldn’t use the pool.We found that 90% of the guests were Turkish so obviously everything was geared towards them, us English were not really given any consideration.Would I go there again? DEFINITELY NOT.As for their star rating I would give it 1 and that’s only because of its location.

  If your english avoid this hotel!!! Hardly anyone speaks any english so hard to communicate. The food is very disappointing also, same food day in day out, the best if you can say the best bit was the salad.They served chips with breakfast but not at lunch time, they had wedges if you would call them wedges. Food very bland.No ice creams for the kids at all.The rooms were filthy, you had to chase the maids round if you wanted your room cleaned - it got to day 4 and they still hadn't been so had to ask reception could we have the room cleaned. we wanted to keep the room on the last day as we had a late flight but couldnt as the hotel was full. there was no where to get dressed apart from a tiny shower cubicle next to the toilets which absolutely stunk and the shower room was rotten.the only positive on this hotel was the beach front so i read the reviews and thought i would give it a chance but i wished i looked elsewhere as all the negatives outweighed the postivie.the drinks also on AI was beer, wine, vodka and wisky.they also dont tell you that the pool bar where you get your AI drink shuts at 6-7 for a 'clean up' for the night time so there isnt anywhere else to get drinks in this hour.I know its only an hour but if your still sunbathing on the beach as its still very sunny you cant go get a drink its all blocked off so we used to have to nip to a local shop for a drink.I

  AVOID AVOID AVOID? ZERO STARS – ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE

  I honestly cannot understand how this hotel is advertised as a 4-star hotel. Based on our experience, it deserves ZERO STARS.From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, it was an absolute nightmare. The room was dirty, the floor and carpet were filthy, the bathroom was mouldy, the fridge was dirty and mouldy, the mattress was dirty, and the furniture was broken. The towels were dirty and repeatedly had long hairs on them.The worst part was the bed bugs. My son was bitten. This is completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, a serious hygiene and health concern.The air conditioning was positioned directly above the bed, so we could not use it properly. The sunbeds were cracked and appeared unsafe. The food also caused us stomach cramps and stomach pain, raising serious concerns about the hygiene and quality of the food.And it started badly from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't even ready. We were given a room that appeared to have been occupied by someone only minutes earlier, with empty plastic bottles still inside.The transfer was also a complete mess. Because the driver couldn't turn around in front of the hotel, we were dropped off around five minutes away and had to walk in over 40°C heat, carrying luggage and travelling with children. We were then transferred between a minibus and another coach in a rushed and chaotic process. One of our friends ended up leaving his personal bag on the previous coach because of this confusion.Communication was another disaster. Around 95% of the staff did not speak English, and most communication had to be done through Google Translate. When we asked questions, the answers were often vague and completely unhelpful.What makes this even worse is that I repeatedly contacted Loveholidays before travelling, asking them to contact the hotel and make sure the appropriate standards were in place. I even emailed the hotel's representative at Tuntas about a week before arrival and received absolutely no response.This was not a case of expecting luxury or being difficult customers. These are basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and customer service.Dirty room. Mould. Bed bugs. My child bitten. Dirty towels. Dirty mattress. Mouldy fridge. Broken furniture. Unsafe-looking sunbeds. Poor food. Almost no English-speaking staff. Terrible communication. No meaningful support.The entire holiday experience was a complete fiasco and an absolute disaster.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with children.
