Location

The hotel is located 6 km east of the centre of the popular resort of Alanya and is a 5-minute walk from the beach, close to Dimçayı River. Public transport is available from the main road 400 m away and some shops, bars and restaurants can be found within 400-500 m of the hotel. Antalya airport is approximately 140 km away.

Facility

150 non-smoking rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services include a childcare service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. There is a wellness area with a spa and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. An entertainment programme for adults and children ensures that guests have plenty to see and do during their stay.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant with air conditioning and a bar. Catering options include full board and all-inclusive. For breakfast (continental), lunch, and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet or choose their favourite dishes from the à la carte options (for dinner). The hotel also offers snacks. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    lovely hotel visited last year and enjoyed a lot. staff were really helpful, food tasted really good, however it may not be for the british as there was mainly russian and german tourists. at night there were many drunk loud people, but we tolerated it. there was shows on every night, a good 2 swimming pools and one that had 2 slides. there was shuttle to beach, and city in the evening, however it was 11/2 hours from airport.

    I'm a little perplexed by other reviews stating the language problems!? I'm sorry but you are a visitor to that country! We should be the ones who should be able to speak Turkish . It was hard but we managed fine and found the staff very helpful. It is a 10 minute walk from the beach but the hotel runs regular bus trips to the beach and I for one preferred to be out of the hustle and bustle of a town centre. We had a most memorable time at akropol and am writing this review as I am actually looking to book for another hol 2014

    I have just returned from our holiday which was spoiled by this hotel my son was bored as he couldn't make friends because we was the only 2 English people there! The kids club well what can I say all they did was sit in a tiny playhouse and draw the kids disco was on for 10minutes only and the animation team looked like they didnt want to be there! It was terrible the worst hotel Iv ever stayed in the staff was very rude they didn't want to help or be friendly! My so got glass in his foot from the pool area and the life guard just watched as he was sat on the floor screaming and crying with blood everywhere! I ran over to the staff telling them my son has glass in his foot he strolled over with his first aid bag he didnt even have twizzers or plasters!! I managed to get the glass out and they found a plaster! They didn't even say sorry or show any concern! I booked all inclusive but had to pay for ice cream when ever Iv stayed in a all inclusive holiday the ice cream is free but no not here! The food was ok never hot though! I would not recommend this hotel at all. My son did enjoy the slides though that's the only thing that was good

    poor standard of hotel no one speaks any english and we were not made to feel welcome they appear to cater for german &russian tourists. rooms shabby also alot of complaints about rooms not ready for clients when they arrive suspect strongly that staff using vacant rooms therefor not clean when people arrived.it was too far away from resort centre and half way up a steep hill so had to rely on transport as couldnt walk anywhere.food was alright but repetative chicken for lunch &dinner every day would never use this hotel again

    Rooms - the one you see on the website is indeed lovely and modern...This is the only one in the hotel decorated like this - the rest are dark, dingy and just generally crap!Food - fantastic ... if you like chicken nuggets or burgers every night that is..No toaster? Chips, spaghetti day in day out!Location - 3hr transfer, in the middle of nowhere, although there is a courtesy bus to and from hotel to town and beach.Beach - All inclusive? Food is free although you have to pay any drinks!!!BUY SHOES IS GOING TO THE BEACH.It is really dirty too!Pool - Fine although activities should be done when the slides are closed.Kids will love the slides!Animation team - all three of them... Fantastic if you only speak German!They change the times of everything to suit their schedule - the bus, evening entertainment even dinner!Disco - get eaten alive by mozzies...All inc: finishes at 11pm something to keep in mind.What was good:Clean, pool bar staff were friendly.15 out of 17 of us had sickness and ... well you can make out the rest!More like a 2 star.Been Turkey 3 times but was really disappointed with this hotel and resort as Bodrum and Altincum were lovely!x
