location is good, rooms are very clean. some staffs (specially Ms Nazahat (if I spell correct) was very supportive. our reservation was BF included, that was not very good. I don't recommend their restaurant comparing the costs.

Everything was top notch. The manager Sedat is very friendly and provides with great advice from planning to anything activities that you want. Sedat is a very honest and reliable person. Let him plan your holiday to have the most of it. Lands of Legends. The famous hotel restaurant's dish from Burger to FAJITA was really awesome. We had our best time so far in Antalya. Famous Family Hotel exceeds perfection.

I liked staying at this family running hotel in the heart of old town antalya. The room has cozy interior and place is so clean. Comfortable bed.good shower. And breakfast was so big with lots of options.And staff was so kind. Especially Sedat. The excursion trip he recommended was excellent trip.

Absolutely outstanding customer service. I’ve been to 4 cities in Turkey and stayed at 6 hotels, I can’t express how much they went out the way to help me and my wife find the best deals for our tours and activities.I personally want to thank Serdar who runs the famous family hotel. We definitely will be back again.

Infested with cockroaches,room 302 is a cage.Avoid like a plaque.

Room 302 is locked inside the building next to reception like a cage.All windows shown on pictures comes out to public corridors so be aware of it before making a reservation .Room looks ok, but forget about privacy. There is fridge in the room but it’s out of order. Air conditioner very old. It does switch on , but it’s effectiveness is close to none. Air conditioner remote control covered with heavy dirt and absolutely disgusting !! Now crème de la crème :We discovered alive, large size cockroach in the bathroom.Reported to hotel supervisor who offered spraying and to move back to the room after 30min. We did not find this solution safe to health. Please check health and safety in this case to see how this might badly affect your health. My partner was not feeling comfortable anymore to sleep another night in there sharing room with potential more insects ( we stayed only 1 night out of 5 booked and payed) . We wasn’t happy at all. Something in my head told me to check other reviews for Famous Family Hotel. After a short studies I discovered whole truth about this place and that we weren’t first guests who faced this problem. Please check not only Booking reviews , but also Tripadvisor and Google to see the whole picture of it. More of it guests was clearly stating room 302 as particularly infested with cockroaches. Now we had a clear mind and knew that we won’t like to stay here anymore. I texted hotel manager informing him that we would rather like to move out and asked for refund due infestation. In reply we been told that no one complained for it before and refund won’t happen as this will cause business loss. I told the man that it is not truth and that I read other reviews which was referring to same issue. Supervisor told me that infestation problem exist in whole old town area and that once or two unfortunate incidental reviews are not much. He said that whatever we will move in the area we might face the same . In following conversation he offered to us alternative apartment across the road instead and provided us by with couple of rather shabby looking pictures of the other room. Standard of the apartment offered did not match the same or even close to what we payed for ( some bed below stairs ) We rejected the offer especially after when supervisor wasn’t honest with us. How could we take a room which might suffer with the same problem after being already distressed ? It wasn’t inviting proposition at all. Despite old time being great location we decided to leave and to pay for another hotel outside of old town area. The only thing we wanted was a peace of mind and to sleep well at night without thinking of cockroaches and to enjoy rest of our holidays. Hotel supervisor told us that he just want to save our money and that Booking that we had our reservation thru will not help us much to receive refund. How shocked we were that after only few minutes since we left the premises we received message from Booking that hotel supervisor made our reservation as no show. This allowed him to take our money ( pretending that we never showed up in the hotel breaking a booking rules) , but not only that . By doing it you as a customer ultimately loosing a possibly of contacting booking for help, loosing all conversations between yourself and a hotel as well as loosing opportunity to leave a review !!! That’s explain high scores on booking . On Google reviews I found a review of flustered customer who also payed full price without any chance to get the refund. I managed to contact Booking however different way and to inform them of unfair practices by Famous Family Hotel. They told me that this is absolutely unacceptable to be treated this way and that is illegal to mark our stay as no show when we were spending there a night. They assured me that they will help me to receive a refund and this is a minimum that they could do to compensate for the situation. Unfortunately few weeks later they informed me that they are unable to provide me in this case with refund as I been offered alternative apartment and spraying. I did not say my last word in this case yet. For now I will just to leave it for you Dear future guest of Famous Family Hotel to judge if you wish to go thru the same hell as we did and to invest your hard earn money to support these practices. Just to highlight that this is mine personal bad experience and I had only opportunity to stay in infamous 302 room and not any other rooms. The choice is yours , but don’t say I did not warn you.
