Clean and peaceful hotel with good location. Great pool for swimming, air-condition in rooms. Service could be better; there are not so many english speaking staff there and service variation was strange - because of that maybe. Also the food was lacking of quality of meet and varied food

    Horrible stay

    rating15 Sept 2025

Oh dear me…. Where to start… The front of the hotel looked ok, and the rooms were ok-ish. But little issues such as the light switch was hanging off of the wall with live electricity, the fridge didn’t close properly, and the stool to the dressing table was missing a leg! So other than the light switch - nothing major. Then we move onto the food… I wish I could give this a minus.. the food is left out for all the flies to constantly land on. The BBQ food wasn’t even cooked properly and there wasn’t even enough sitting for everyone. The food choices were basic and tasted stale. And there was only one bar which was so tiny and placed in the lobby!!! No pool bar. They only had about 4 drinks available in the lobby bar and the soft drinks were awful. As for the pool… the pictures make the pool look like a decent size… it’s not!!! Like I say no pool bar either so you have to go all the way back into the lobby just to get a drink. The free water was always hot and never kept in a fridge. Some staff were friendly and some damn right rude. It cost us a lot in money as we had to eat out everyday as we didn’t want uncooked fly infested meat. Lastly we were all bitten by mosquitoes as they are rife in Side. Please don’t stay here, there so are many nice hotels and this is NOT one of them.

    Really positive’

    rating02 Sept 2025

I am writing my review mid way through my 1 week stay. I was really worried about this stay due to the bad reviews but my experience has been positive. Arrival - greeting was pleasant at 11pm ish, able to get soup and drinks on arrival.Room - 3 person room, mini fridge and the water, clean, lovely balcony, air conditioning kept the room cool, although lowest setting I could get was 18 but could have been my error. Still nice and cool in comparison to the 30+ temp. Towels plentiful and clean. Room cleaned daily with fresh provisions.Pool area - clean, I don’t understand people taking food to the beds, not eating it and leaving it behind expecting others to wait on them. Same with sun bed hogging and disappearing.Beech - transport was fine beech 15 mins walk, beech bar included and lunch in AI deal. Gent found us a couple of beds and a parasol when we arrived at 11:30. Lovely beech.Food - breakfast options breads, eggs, cheese, meats, fresh fruit plentiful, olives, biscuits yoghurts, cereals, usual drinks. Plenty of choice.Lunch & dinners - decent options, salads, breads, fruit, desserts, chips, pasta, rice. Couscous, flatbreads, bbq options, fish, meat etc. I found the food enjoyable, yes you can get a higher standard of food in a 5 star hotel, considering the cost the food is good, the volume of fruit and salads surprised me even in comparison with more expensive hotels o have stayed in.Soup - nice for late night arrival.Drinks - I don’t really drink alcohol but even from this perspective I felt could value and plenty of options. Except milk which we brought for about a pound at the shop across the street. The staff - very good, yes a language barrier exists, as it would if a Turkish person was visiting the UK, they try hard and many really did take the time to translate. The cleaners really smiley, the bus driver was friendly as were the waiters and bar staff. We’ve enjoyed the stay and would book again in the future. Side is a lovely place.

    Horrible

    rating22 Aug 2025

Room ConditionsThe room was in very poor condition. The air conditioning did not work properly, the towels were dirty and stained, and the bed linens were torn. The blankets were made of towel-like material, which was extremely uncomfortable to sleep under. The minibar was completely empty – no drinks were provided. Tea bags were never refilled, and there was no instant coffee; I had to buy my own from the supermarket. When I asked for a glass of milk for my little daughter, I was told to purchase it myself from a store because they couldn’t provide any. Many times, we were left without bottled water, which made it difficult to have anything to drink in the extreme heat. The kettle was covered in limescale at the bottom, and unfortunately I only noticed this at the end of our stay – after using it all week to prepare milk for my two-year-old.Food & DrinksThe food was terrible. Breakfast consisted of only three types of cold cuts and one type of cheese, plus some sour cheeses (like telemea), one of which tasted similar to cat food. There were no spreads, no soft cheeses, only some small butter portions that were very difficult to spread. The variety was extremely poor, and leftovers were constantly reused. For example, the remaining ham from breakfast was turned into a “carbonara” for lunch, which tasted awful. Leftover fries were reused for dinner with some watered-down sauce and chicken pieces poured over them. The oil used for frying was pitch black. At meal times, it was often impossible to find a table inside the restaurant. As a pregnant woman with a two-year-old, waiting 10+ minutes just to sit down was very difficult.Beach & TransportGetting to the beach was a nightmare. A small minibus designed for 12 people carried more than 30 passengers, including small children. As a pregnant woman, I often had no seat. There was no air conditioning, and the beach was at least 2 km away. The beach itself could have been nice, but the sunbeds were broken, torn, and old, and the umbrellas were dirty, damaged, and too small. The beach bar was disgusting. The smell was so bad it made me gag while waiting for a drink. The soda machines even gave electric shocks to several people – including me, while holding my daughter. There was never any ice, drinks were always warm, and the instant coffee was awful. For the first two or three days, there wasn’t even any beer available. Sometimes there were no cups, and beer was served in tiny coffee cups. In 40°C heat, only warm drinks were available, which upset our stomachs.Entertainment & FacilitiesThe evening “show” was a joke. It didn’t happen every night, and when it did, it lasted no more than 20 minutes and was of extremely poor quality. The kids’ shows were just as bad – one evening the music was blasting loudly without any performance, preventing my little girl from sleeping. There was no organization whatsoever. At the pool, staff removed our drinks before the scheduled closing time (we were told “closing” even though the program was supposed to run until 19:00). When we asked for replacements, they refused and told us to get them ourselves.Cleaning & ServiceThe cleaning service was appalling. Towels were dirty, the room was barely cleaned, and some of our personal belongings were stolen – including my daughter’s towel and two coffee mugs we had brought from home. When I reported this to reception, I was told “sorry, nothing we can do” and was dismissed. The in-room safe did not work, and in some rooms it wasn’t even available. In the mornings, there was no coffee at all unless you were lucky enough to get some at breakfast.Overall ImpressionThis was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The entire place is run-down, dirty, and disorganized. The food was recycled and tasteless, drinks were always warm, and for the first days even beer was missing. Basic services such as cleaning and safety were completely unreliable. The conditions were unacceptable for families, children, or pregnant women.I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel.

Upon our arrival (Friday), the room was dirty and uncleaned: there was a bad smell, garbage, a filthy air conditioner, and handprints on the walls. The WiFi did not work. At the bar, there was no beer – we were told it would be available in an hour, but it only arrived on Sunday afternoon. The dining area was unacceptable: no variety at all, the same poor-quality food every day. When we raised our concerns, instead of trying to solve the problems, they called the police on us.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we will definitely never return.
