Not for British people! Will never come back!

    rating07 Aug 2025

When we first arrived we were greeted by two lovely men who checked us in and allowed us to go to our room. One spoke very good English and one not so very good. When we were shown to our room, we were very shocked how dated the rooms are. Dated carpets, bedding, furniture. We had an electrical socket hanging out of the wall with wires on show (as shown in pictures) and our bathroom had thick dust on the toilet seat. We didn’t have enough beds as paid for but we were so tired we didn’t want to complain. Then we went down to the sunset snack bar which is the evening food place. The food was awful (pictures again shown) I asked for butter but the waitress didn’t understand what I meant? There was never any butter at any meal times (maybe this is a British) but the bread was very dry every evening/day. The pool - this was clean at the beginning of the week but constantly found stones at the bottom of the pool as the pool is manually cleaned by hand. The staff who cleans it works long hours and how can he clean it when people reserve their sun-beds from evening. It literally closes bang on 6pm every day which I don’t think is fair as it didn’t say that when we booked. 6pm and everyone has to go because whistles are blown as if we’re in a festival until everyone leaves. Entertainment - couldn’t understand a word of what was going on neither did my children. So wasn’t bothered about entertainment every evening - especially with the rudeness on some guests with chairs. Everyone was struggling for chairs and some guests had two chairs (one for their feet up and one for them) rude! The entertainment staff were not like other places we’ve been where they say good morning and come and have a lovely chat with you, Make you feel involved, Here they were very standoffish and only got people involved who they knew (maybe a language barrier again).Fitness centre/gym - doesn’t open until the spa opens which was gutting as I would have liked to go early morning before the kids woke up. Again doesn’t say this when booking. Staff - Again, whenever I have been to other parts of turkey the staff usually cannot do enough for you. Here you can see they hate their jobs, they’re understaffed completely to the point where evening dinnertime was a mission for one man sorting 100+ tables and some very angry guests. But you can see they try their best but definitely understaffed. Even at the bars - you would easily wait 20-30 minutes for a drink every time because only one bar is open and one staff working. Food- was disgusting. We have never been to all inclusive and eaten out most nights and bought loads of snacks from the local shop. It was constant slodge, nothing was cooked and most things were left overs from snack times (chicken nuggets, mushrooms). I do feel it was targeted at Turkish guests instead of targeting all. We lived on rice, cucumbers, spaghetti and bread (no butter). The snack food was better than the normal food with a choice of burgers, pizza (the pizza guy is lovely happy and cheerful and made a big fuss over the kids). Drinks - were fab. Great that they have water provided in the fridges available at all times. Only downside was the constant queuing for drinks due to only one bar open. Sunbeds - They need to change some as majority of them are broken. But it was absolutely ridiculous that I had to get up at 5.30am every morning to ensure we had a space by the pool. Anytime after 6am you wouldn’t have a sun-bed. Even the beach sun-beds are reserved by guests. Also, I took a picture every morning to ensure my towels were not moved. It’s pathetic but towels were being moved by lots of people. People also were reserving sun beds on the beach and the pool which is reallyUnfair when some people didn’t have a sun-bed at all. This is not the hotels fault but the guests. We noticed by the end of the holiday people were reserving them from the evening. The guests - wow is all I can say. RUDE!! Maybe it’s the way people’s culture is but by the end of the week I learnt to walk as if I had steroids in my body 😂 and learnt to not give any eye contact but walk through people. No one said hello, good morning etc. and people would push over the children frequently and not even apologise just carry on walking! I felt judged most of the holiday for having a bikini on and my body on show. Again, no fault of the hotel but I just don’t feel like British people are welcomed here. We tried using the bar and snack bar by the smaller pool but we refused entry as we were told it’s “red bands only”. We had no idea what this was but the bar was always empty, lots of staff and their food looked amazing! We were later told by reception that this is for “higher class customers”. Dinner time - there was never empty tables and staff couldn’t keep up with the cleaning of the tables due to being understaffed. So every evening we had to clean up someone else’s plates, food - wipe the tables ourselves and then go and get some food. One evening my partner was waiting 45 minutes for kebab meat which turned out to be undercooked 😢. Every evening felt as if you were scrambling for food. People were pushing in wherever they could and giving you a glare when you were grabbing something. Again maybe the British have different culture but manners are a gift. We ended up going out for food the last few evenings to a lovely place down the road which completely goes against what all inclusive is about! There are positives - The beach is beautiful. It’s very clean and very picturesque. The water park is brilliant for everyone. One life guard was very happy and absolutely great with the kids - loved his whistle 😂 but was absolutely brilliant! The water feature in the middle of the pool was beautiful touch! Lots of people taking photos and the kids loved it. Special touch was entertainment doing Turkish dancing underneath it. The weather was absolutely beautiful. High 30s every day. The hotel is situated right by lots of shops. Cross over a bridge and you’re near a Main Street of shops, restaurants, hair dressers etc. we did find them quite expensive compared to mamaris prices but we didn’t find them pushy and everyone was really lovely. There is a chance to upgrade to the next hotel “select” which was much better food being cooked and a better selection of drinks. We asked at reception what the “red/orange bands” were for and he stated “higher class people”. The air conditioning In the rooms is brilliant! Few tips:Don’t pay airport taxi prices - book through raintransfers.com - awesome price for a return! When going out to the shops - the ones closest to the hotel are the cheaper ones.

Nice beach front, pools & grounds - rest “could do better”

    rating26 Oct 2024

Noisy location by an extremely busy dual carriage way & loud disco every night. Few rooms can escape this invasion of sound for any peace & tranquility. Hot food - only just warm at best. Same basic options every day. Staff need some work in charm school. One lady in dining room was cheerful- as was the pizza chef. Reception staff showed no effort to supply a second white sheet ( we were cold at night but didn’t need a blanket ). Asked twice - gave up. Cleaning staff more helpful and offered a good service with a smile.*** Rooms okay. Quite dated and very worn out - not all sockets working. Lamp with bulb that didn’t work - lampshades corroded. Cleaned well every day - thankfully. Plenty of hot water - a plus.Would not recommend based on all the above. Reception made NO EFFORT TO engage the guests - no activities listed on a board to detail what was on and where ie aqua aerobics in the pool at 11.30 am - only found out BY WORD OF MOUTH. There was a show on Saturday evening- no one knew about it - a few came across it and said “ you didn’t miss anything- it was very poor.” Pay a bit more and get a better quality experience- the hotel was very poorly run and organised. Shame shame shame .

    Poor Experience

    rating28 Sept 2024

Hotel room ok but dated, needs some tlc.Pool nice. That's it.Food awful, cold and tasteless. Practically same menu every day. Getting through the week becomes a challenge. Much better food, and cheaper in the town only 5 mins walk away.Staff are not engaged and miserable. They don't want to be there.Claims to be 5 star, there are better B&Bs in Blackpool. Maybe a 3 star at best.Needs a rocket up the operations management team. They could do much better.

    Filthy , Mafia owned hotel

    rating22 Aug 2024

I will be honest with my review, I was there from 4th august until 11th august, we were three boys and the first day of arrival we had to wait for extra 6 hours to just enter our room, which is normal since the rooms can be with guests and check out time was at 11:30, when we entered the first room, they had the guts to give us a two single beds room , even though we had a triple room booked two months ago , I told them this is not the room I have booked, and they told me they will bring an extra bed, I didn’t want to be rude and waited for the extra bed patiently and after an hour the bed came , the lady that brought the bed was really kind but the situation is not on her hands. They brought an army bed which was catastrophic , and a mattress which was stinky.I told them at the reception this is not what I have booked and I want my room, then we got sent into another room which was Okay for a hotel room. After that , Immediately the first day we went at the snack bar by the pool, they sent some girls from the animation team in our table (They saw three young boys and lets Blackmail them) . The girls were all minors even though they said they were 20/27/25 , and they tried to seduce us with some movements , and they tried to make us go to some disco’s which I believe the owner of the disco is the same as the Hotel’s .So yes, If you go to this hotel, you’ll get bored either by some filthy gay boys or some minor girls which the owner uses (Normally because they are non professional and get paid less). The workers at the restaurant and the reception were some of the kindest people I met in Antalya, especially Sumru Nigar Sahin from the reception and Sahin from the Restaurant. At the restaurant there was a boy who was the stupidest man I ever met, he would come and take some snacks we bought at the market, take cigarettes without asking , he even tried to sell us Substances and give us escort numbers just so he can get profit or idk.The problem is not the Workers, the problem is the owner who instead of trying to improve things , he doesn’t care and there was a situation in which he messaged the girls from the animation team that without making at least one person write a good review in google for the hotel, they are not allowed to go home or have a free day (In old days this was called slavery, but now in that hotel this became normal) , the workers would ask for cigarette because they didn’t get paid in time .So even if you see a good review, just know that surely someone from them told the guests to write a review. Now about food: You’ll see a large variety, you’ll not get poisoned from food but its monotonous and without taste .We went to Ozkaymak Select because we saw doner , and we were told that we don’t have the right to eat there, even though we were told that we can eat wherever we want. The beach is closed at 19:00 and you can’t swim or walk there anymore. If you want to throw money, this Hotel is the best place
