  Disgusting place. Unsafe

  Literally went in room for 5 mins an left. Absolutely filthy and stunk.Smoke alarms in both rooms ripped out and wires left hanging. Light switches taped down with tape. Adjoining balcony literally touching easily step over and no key to lock balcony door easy access for next room. Nobody spoke english. Worse place ive everseen.

  Picked happy homes because I was led to believe reading the reviews it was near the centre of Alanya I have been coming to alanys for over 20 yrs so know the area well as we arrived at the hotel it was dark and I noticed nothing really around it room was OK clean two balconysanyway woke up next morning about 8 went down stairs no one about tried to fathom out where we were not a clue went outside nothing around no shops one restaurant that looked dingy not a soul just people I think going to work as my husband dosent walk to well I realised we were Miles from the centre I got us a taxi and asked for aquapark the only thing I could think of so we ended up where I thought happy homes was stopped at a restaurant I decided we were not staying there went in the hotel attached to the restaurant asked the manager could we stay there it was the kleopatra Hotel exactly where I wanted got a lovely room in a beautiful hotel went back for suitcase as we walked into the foyer of happy homes they had the painters and decorates in so I was stepping over tubs of paint dodging men painting the walls I knew I had made the right decision to get the hell out of there we are now having a fantastic time in a beautiful hotel and not a paint pot in sight I have now got the email adress for this hotel and will definitely stay here again maggie

  The apartment was basic enough and clean. It was a good job we had no intention of cooking as the hot plate didnt look up to scratch and there was no fan to get rid of steam We had any amount of hot water. We stayed for two weeks. We believed that we would get clean towels every three days but they were only changed three and we had to ask once.Having said that the staff were very nice. They did not have much English. It was five minutes from the beach, and what a beach, Kleopatra Beach is absolutely beautiful. Went down there every day. There is a supermarket under the apartments which was very handy. The location was central enough to the shopping area. We did not book the Air Conidition it was €7 a day and was only in the bedroom. We bought a tall fan in Alanyum and were able to use it at night in the bedroom and in the sitting room . It cost us €40 . If you want Wifi in your room its €3 per day but there is free wifi down stairs near the book and in the lobby area.

  Great Budget Apart Hotel well located in Alanya

  Clean, well equipped apart hotel. It was taken over by the current owners two years ago and they have clearly undertaken a programme of improvements. The beds are very comfortable and appear to be new as are the bedding and curtains. Some other items are noticeably shabbier but I imagine they are replacing things gradually. They are very helpful and as soon as we informed them that our kettle didn't work it was replaced although with one that needed the lid prising open with a knife. If these kind of minor irritations don't phase you then this is a very good hotel for the money. The couple are very obliging and brought us a Turkish breakfast to the room on the first morning (total cost £3) and couldn't do enough for you. They helped us out with bus routes and hamam recommendations. The cleaner will come in every day (if you want them to) and empty the bins, make the beds etc and change the towels whenever requested. When they realised that we'd pushed the beds together they made the bed up with double sheets to hold them together for us which was a nice touch. The pool was really clean and we invariably had it to ourselves (september). There is a supermarket downstairs that sells most things and a hardware shop a couple of doors along where we bought a plug (50p) so we could do some handwashing and a showerhead (£1) so we could have a more directional shower. Standards are generally those you might expect when staying with friends rather than international hotel standards. If you go with this attitude then I think that you'll find this a pleasant 'home from home' which is what I think the owners are aiming for. The location is very good for the main shopping areas, restaurant areas and the beach as well as buses to the castle. Overall we would recommend it. Alanya is however not a quiet place, there is a lot of traffic noise as it is a city and the call to prayer is a regular part of the soundscape. I'll try and review the restaurants we visited too. WiFi is free in the pool and lobby and 10 EUROs for the week or 3EUROs per day. AIRCON and safe deposit box also charged locally as per usual..

  good location, 100 meters to beach, nice but small swimming pool, very kindly and helpful staff, food was taste. room was small but very nice with beautiful view. Every day was cleaning.Generally, excellent hotel if you compare to other 3stars hotels
