    So nice

    rating02 Jan 2015

The hotel is amazing, hotel staff are SUPER friendly. The hotel is build in an old castle, restaurant are great with an amazing view of the city & the Marina. Rooms was big, we took the room at the ground floor at the left wing. It was cosy, big was a king size.Hotel is near to all your tourist & traditional areas. The thing we didn't like at the ground floor rooms was the noise of the cars passing by & the near by bar, which play music until 1200 then reduce it. Overall, totally recommended

    Views are not everything

    rating23 Oct 2014

Ok - as other reviewers have said the views from the restaurant are great. The Restaurant sits in between two wings of the CH Hotel, it is where one takes breakfast and a beer after a hot day. Yes, the views from here are excellent. The notion of living literally in the reconstructed city wall is also great. Maybe on another day or time of the year we would not have had the experiences we did.Firstly, our room for night one, was in the "older" wing. It was well enough positioned with windows that opened to allow fresh air in the room. The bahroom was smelly (drain stink) and we had to air the room to get rid of mustiness before we could bed down. The room was noisy from a very poor singer at full volume at the Bar opposite the Hotel. We had a king sized bed with one only fairly thin cover designed only for a double bed. I have to say that mismatched bed sizes were a commonn experience on our latest trip through Turkey. and in a Pension we accept it - but not in a "boutique" hotel. Breakfast was served from 9am onwards and for us this is simply too late - we negotiated for an early breakfast at 8am. Arrived - no one there! Waited still no-one. Coud not track down the 24 hour receptionist and finally at 8:30 am a staff member arrived - we had breakfast at 9am, as advertised! It rained overnight and all tables and chairs were soaked. We went to eat there that evening and it was closed because of the rain - I just say this is a "boutique" hotel not a 2 star guest house and they need to do better. The following day we had to leave at 8am and so forfeited breakfast all together - although we were sent away with a roll (that had been sitting on the restaurant bar since the morning previously. We ditched the rolls! On our first morning we walked out of our room just as the renovators got stuck into the room next to ours. Leaving meant climbing over rubble, mattresses and so on. Upon return later that day we were told we had been moved to another room - a good thing since our room was also rubble by this stage. Our new room was at street level, we could not open windows since a group of men were sitting on chairs and playing Backgammon outside. The room was also very stale and the bathroom was smelly again. There were no blackout curtains on the street facing windows and the lights were bright all night. In the morning we showeredwith our feet in our own water since there was a drain blockage - might explain the stink in the bathroom!I could go on about other matters that combined left us not wanting to recommend this hotel since it would be on the basis of positon alone - and positon in this case means the restaurant. We recommend that you walk further in your search for a boutique hotel in Antalya this one let us down.

    Antalya's Best Kept Secret

    rating13 Sept 2014

Simply wonderful. Built into the old castle views this hotel is nothing short of spectacular. We didn't even have to go downstairs to reception to leave the hotel. We went through a door on the landing and were immediately on top of the castle walls. From there you descend a few steps to a beautiful restaurant with views across the harbour. We ate at the restaurant twice due to the quality of food and setting. The 15% discount to hotel guests was very welcome. Ferdi on reception was a joy to behold. Nothing was too much trouble and he seemed genuinely excited to welcome us and immediately informed us we had been upgraded. The room was beautiful with lovely little extra touches to make us feel at home.I'm one of these travellers that spends days/weeks of indecision and poring over sites like this before choosing a hotel. I stumbled upon CH by accident and struck gold. Simply perfect and right in the heart of the old town.

    The Secret Restaurant

    rating24 Jun 2013

What a rubbish name for such a great place. We didn't stay here but we had dinner here for four of our ten nights in Antalya and that's very unusual because we like to shop around. Get a table with a view! It's stunning. This place is built into the old city walls and is worthy of a visit just to see it's construction. The food is very good and I would recommend the very big grilled king prawn crevettes, which are to die for, and dinner for two with a glass or wine each about 120 Tl or £40. I can't recommend this place too much. Hotel, change the name to something people will recognise!
