Nice hotel with a friendly staff

    rating26 Dec 2025

The hotel is really good. The staff is excellent, all you need they are ready to provide, always positive and friendly. The food is nice, lots of variations, just one thing I would say’s that I wish there could be more fish)).All in all , I was happy to say there.

    It was a perfect stay.

I was staying there for vacation and I loved it. The food was good, the rooms were comfortable. I liked eating by the pool. It was a little loud becuase of the cicadas. The hotel was very clean and we even got special things made out of towels (in photos). It was very comfortable. The janitors got in even though the do not disturb button was on. I loved staying there. 10/10 would stay there again.

    Horrible owner, manager and food

    rating09 Jul 2025

I stayed at Kleopatra Micador Hotel in Alanya and unfortunately my experience was far from relaxing. Here is my honest and detailed review, so future guests know what to expect.Rooms:The rooms are quite small and in my case the view was disappointing — instead of a sea view or something nice, I was looking directly at nearby living spaces just 20 meters away. (In French: j'ai un vis-à-vis direct avec les autres habitants, donc pas de privé).When I arrived, the showerhead was broken. I reported this on the first day but unfortunately it was never repaired during my entire stay.On my third night, I wanted to take a shower but there was no hot water — just lukewarm or cold. So I had to take an uncomfortable cold shower late at night.Food:The food is generally edible but nothing special and there is not much variety. At lunch and dinner there is always the same tomato sauce pasta, and I often felt that leftover dishes were re-used the next day. For example, the turkey dish and liver dish seemed to be mixed together the next day — at least that was my impression. There is a cake & coffee hour at 4 PM but the cakes and cookies were very poor quality and sometimes they were cleared away early. To be fair, the staff were usually willing to help if you asked nicely.Drinks:The hotel claims to be all-inclusive, but the selection is very limited: you get local vodka and warm white or red wine. I asked multiple times for the white wine to be chilled in the fridge but they still served it warm. Also, the Wi-Fi is not included — you have to pay extra (€3 per day).Staff:The cleaning staff and most waiters are the true backbone of this hotel. They are very friendly, respectful, and try to do their jobs well despite working long hours. The housekeeping was done daily and always very clean — I really appreciate their hard work.If you get thirsty at night, you have to go down to the lobby and refill your water bottle from a water dispenser. Otherwise, there are plastic cups you can fill up one by one.Worst experience:My worst experience was at dinner when a waiter asked me to leave the table because “the owner always sits there.” This table was not marked as reserved, but the hotel owner apparently keeps it permanently reserved for himself. When I accidentally sat there, he made rude comments like “Turks are always like this.” As a Turkish person myself, I found that very disrespectful and humiliating.Later, when I reserved the same table for myself, the owner came again and tried to sit with us uninvited. Even when I was sitting with my girlfriend, he kept interrupting and disturbing us.It got so bad that the manager called me to his office and subtly threatened to throw me out if I “kept sitting at his boss table.” He even called my local guide (my Rehber) to warn me that if I didn’t stop, they would kick me out of the hotel. The next day, when we tried to sit at a different table (which had no reservation sign) during breakfast, we were once again asked to move because the owner wanted to sit there too. This is totally unacceptable — it felt more like I was an unwanted guest in his private living room than a paying hotel guest.---Summary:The rooms are small, the food is repetitive, the facilities are basic, and the atmosphere is completely ruined by the hotel owner who acts like the guests are a nuisance in his private restaurant. The only positive aspect is the hardworking, polite staff (cleaners and waiters) — they deserve all the credit.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday.I hope my honest review helps other travellers make a better choice.

    Hotel kleopatra micador Alanya

    rating16 Nov 2024

Very clean hotel, staff friendly, small pool but ok.Food was not bad always found something that we all liked. 3 meals a day with cake and coffee at 4 pm but no other snacks at all. The bar opens at 10am closes at 10 pm and not lively. Choice of drinks on all inclusive were very limited which is disappointing but option to buy other drinks at 6 euros each. The rooms were immaculate with option of daily cleaning.Alanya has lots to see and do with many excursions to choose from at varying extra costs.Town center with its many shops was only £5 in a taxi inc tip.The beach was only 200-300 meters away.Overall we came at a quieter time for a relaxing break and was happy. If you are looking for a lively place to visit then its a no and not for young children as not really anything at the hotel to occupy them just one very small paddling pool. The airport was 1.5 to 2 hrs away.Overall lovely hotel with great staff but not rally for me. With all that said it was only £800 for 2 and love holidays were fantastic
