    Honestly, you couldn’t fault any of the staff from start to finish, the main man thats mostly on reception it’s so caring and kind, and organised to transfer for us to the shopping centre. And the bar staff, simply can’t do enough ❤️ especially the young girl and boy with the glasses (sorry for not remembering names). All in all, I have stayed here three times now, and the place is clean and has everything you need. Thankyou again guys x

    If you’re looking for a hotel that turns a simple stay into a full blown endurance test, this might be the place for you!!We arrived to a room with flickering lights, unfortunately one of our group has epilepsy, so this wasn’t just annoying, it was a genuine health risk. The solution offered? “Turn all the electricity off.” Helpful… except that meant no lighting or air conditioning. Heat, as it turns out, is also a seizure trigger. Who knew?Naturally, navigating a pitch black room led to someone falling in the night. But don’t worry, this was offset by the luxurious touch of a warm fruit platter apology. Slight oversight: it was given to someone with diabetes. You couldn’t make it up🤣🤣The fridge didn’t work either, so we were told to store essential medication in a communal fridge. Because nothing says “peace of mind” like hoping your insulin is still there in the morning.We had also booked a twin room and were instead given a double and a pull-out chair. Not a sofa bed—a chair. For six nights. My spine would like a word please 😩Things escalated further when the hotel lost water completely. Not just in our room, the entire hotel. No communication from staff, no contingency plan and no bottled water available. We only found out via a local café. Guests were effectively left without drinking water or basic sanitation, including one member of our group with ulcerative colitis being told to just “use the toilet anyway”… despite it not flushing.Service-wise, it was a mixed bag if you enjoy unpredictability. Drinks prices varied for identical orders, and on one occasion a drink was poured away in front of us because the bar “closed” mid pour (it was my third drink of the evening, for context, not exactly wild behaviour 🤣).The night manager deserves a special mention, not for service, but for providing an ongoing sense of discomfort. Dismissive, intimidating and apparently happy to discuss guests negatively within earshot of other guests. A nice personal touch.Privacy also seems optional here. After I stayed in another guest’s room (having already booked my own but been given a chair to sleep on), it was raised as an issue, apparently staff had been watching CCTV and monitoring movements. This resulted in that guest leaving the hotel early. Nothing like a bit of surveillance and moral judgement to enhance your holiday.Meanwhile, other guests were involved in actual physical altercations, yet no similar attention seemed to be paid to them. Consistency clearly isn’t a priority.All in all, this hotel manages to combine unsafe conditions, poor service, lack of basic facilities and questionable professionalism into one unforgettable experience.Would I return? Only if I needed a reminder of what not to accept from a hotel.

    We stayed at Laren Family Hotel for the second time, and once again, we had such an amazing experience. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the lovely lady who cleaned our room—she was always so warm and greeted us each morning with a beautiful smile. Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard.During our first visit in September, the weather was even better, so we made great use of the pool every day, and it was always spotless.We would also like to give a special thank you to Murat at reception, who was extremely helpful whenever we needed any information or assistance—he really made a difference to our stay.We will definitely be returning again and wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel. Thank you to all the staff—you were absolutely excellent!

    Was allocated this hotel as part of a dental package 1st visit in 2025 all good no complaints ,2nd visit feb 2026 what a difference hotel filthy bedding soiled cold food arrogant staff a fight broke out involving bar staff, police also involved as being solo this time and female I felt very imitated, I have family members both young and female who are enquiring about dental work to the practice I used who where by the way outstanding but if this is the hotel that will be allocated to them I think they will have to look elsewhere for their treatment such a shame !
