    Great location and delicious food

    rating23 Aug 2025

Friendly and polite service, good food, clean hotel room, unlimited free bottled water (could be taken to the beach), very good location, Cleopatra Beach only a 5-minute walk away.Cons: very small shower area (~1 m²) and the shower doors do not keep the water in (the bathroom floor gets flooded); the air conditioner is located right above the bed, which made my fiancee sick on the last day of our vacation; street noise is very loud (closed windows do not block the sound — it feels as if there are no windows at all).

    Lovely, clean hotel, limited sunbeds

    rating01 Aug 2025

We are a family of five with three kids, 12, 10 and 6 and visited back end of July/ Early August. All in all we had a lovely stay here and it's a very clean hotel. The staff are lovely and very friendly and we probably would come back here. The pool is extremely small and far too crowded on busy days, the beach is within a 10 minute walk though if you get stuck. Food wise, my kids struggled as typical English want french fries, chicken nuggets, ketchup and crepes with Nutella which they don't always have 🫣😂 but let's face it 2 weeks all inclusive food who is going to be happy all the time!We just explored on an evening and played games in the hotel lobbies/ barsPros:- Drinks available at any time, cold water and hot drinks machines dotted all over the hotel to help yourself, best hotel I've seen for this!- Very clean hotel and, fresh sheets, fresh towels and topped up water and coffee in room every day, cleaners are lovely 🫶🏼- Food pretty decent as far as all inclusive a go with varied options, lots of meats, salad bar etc. My wife is vegetarian and struggled though.- Free air con in rooms- Free safe in roomsCons:- Pool is far to small for the size of the hotel (see picture) the baby pool is non existent and, absent pool is probs a no go in peak season with the heat.- No eventing entertainment although we knew that before coming so always check if needed- 27 sunbeds for a hotel of this size means a fight for beds, so your only alternative is get up early to secured beds (which I hate to have to do)- I would not say this is in ideal place for a family, perhaps the Lonicera resort is better suited spending on your needs with young children.- Heavy non English presence which didn't bother us but, looking at miserable European faces on a daily basis could well put people off 🤦🏼

    Nice hotel near Cleopatra Beach

    rating05 Sept 2024

I have to say that the hotel pleasantly surprised me, whether it was cleanliness, excellent communication staff and attitude. The hotel is located approx. 3 minutes from the beaches on Cleoparara Beach, has two swimming pools, and there are interesting restaurants, bars and shops within easy reach. It would easily deserve 4 stars (now it has 3). As for the food, there could probably be more choice, especially regional ones, and fish, but given the predominantly Russian clientele, this is clearly sufficient. I will leave relaxed and satisfied. Lonicera Hotels, Diğer at Lonicera City Hotel, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for your nice feedback.Hope to see you again.Best regards

    Devious, dishonest staff

    rating27 Jul 2023

Devious, dishonest and sleazy staff who cheat you out of money. My family stayed for 9 nights and my girlfriend and I went to their place for dinner a couple times for 150 lira per person (the buffet was much worse than the local canteens which are cheaper). We paid and were told everything was included in the food area, including drinks. We took our food, drinks and two 0.33ml beers. We were politely poured one by a staff member in the lounge. We had dinner and were about to leave, but on the way out, the employee complained to reception that we had drunk beers that was NOT included in the dinner and we had to pay another 200 lira for it!!!!We were shocked. I started arguing, proving that "you said 150 lira included both drinks and food". But I was lied to that there was no such thing. Then I asked "why the f*kkk didn't you tell me in advance about paid drinks????". Everyone shrugged and smirked. I had to hand over the money. It's just disgusting and shameful. Be careful in tourist hotels if you look European. Nasty staff are always looking for a way to cheat you. I've been living in Turkey for a long time and I've never encountered anything like this before, except for cabs in Istanbul. On the last day at the hotel, we were tied up by the receptionist with a "nice conversation in Russian to find out how our vacation went". He stayed with us for more than two hours. Obviously, it was an attempt to warn against negativity after that incident in the restaurant. As you can see, it didn't work :)
