    We had the most perfect stay with Casa Vela. They had a special Luna di Miele suite for us at the very top of the B&B overlooking the sea. The hospitality we received from Alessandro was unbeatable. The food at the wine bar café was excellent. Hands down the best freshly baked chocolate croissant we have ever had. All of the staff were lovely, Natale took excellent care of us for our nightly aperitivo and digestivo.

    We really enjoyed our stay in this B & B. The apartment was spacious enough for a short 2 night stay for our family including 2 small children (we put them on the fold out couch). The best thing about this place was the wine bar down stairs where we enjoyed authentic Italian food. Also the owners of the B n B were very friendly and helpful. Also the B n B is located in an interesting area (an old fishing village) with a castle near by and a very beautiful beach (stone beach and crystal waters). Would recommend this establishment and this town generally.

    We love this place. Not only is the accommodation and views to die for, the hosts are becoming true friends. They took us on a private tour, spent many hours talking to us about the culture of the region, and when we had some people in our group unwell on our last day they helped us with an extra nights accommodation, organised taxis and trains for us and made us feel so well looked after. Francesco and Francesca and their staff are superb. It was our second visit and we look forward to many more.

    The B&B is fantastic value for money. Basic, nice and clean. And it is perfectly situated in the heart of the very nice district Chianalea (old fishermans village in Scilla). The staff is very helpfull in all matters. The Casa Vela wine bar on the ground floor serves a fresh breakfast every morning, and during the day (and night) it serves as a casual and supernice wine bar with small snacks, antipasti and sandwiches etc. The staff knows their wine and food - we got the best recommodations. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely recommend a visit. Gratzie mille - arrivederci!

    in the hear of Chianalea, above a very pleasant wine-bar , clean rooms. staff extremely pleasant, very clean, nice atmosphere , definitely to be recommended , very good price value relationship. Chianalea is amazing and this B&B very well worth the reviews
