    Average hotel

    rating25 May 2026

It’s old Boutique style hotel in the heart of the city which helps you to reach out important points for the city tour. There are lot of pubs, bars and restaurants around this hotel which makes it more happening. Families may find it too noisy and hence make your choice accordingly. First night it was quite difficult for us to sleep as it was very noisy due to in-house dance and music party. we were there for 3 night which was very difficult to sleep. Our room number was 112, No sound proof, shower leakage, toilet seat broken. everyday complain bit never sorted till we left. Although hotel was generous and they offered to shift us on 2nd floor where there is no lift which we politely refused. Breakfast was good but fixed amount. Receptionist on my first day when we check-in on 14th may was not very helpful. As far I remember her name was "KATRINA" . We reached from Pamukkale to Antalya at 1pm , we were told to wait till 2pm after that we went out came back at 4pm still were make to wait for another 1 hours. No smile , no welcome feeling on her face.Restaurant is just below the rooms which is too loud with big speakers hanging on the pole. No lift so its very difficult to carry our luggage up and down.

    9 nights in Antalya

Ideally located for exploring the old town. Cool and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms reasonable but hot water variable. Reasonable value for money. Spotlessly clean, non-stop cleaners everywhere. Noise level high in part of hotel due to adjacent night-club. Excellent service from lovely staff. There is a tiny pool but nobody used it as in a courtyard surrounded by diners.

    Mediterra is a great hotel

    rating10 Apr 2026

I stayed at the Mediterra Art Hotel end Feb/beginning March 2026 and found it to be lovely. The staff were super efficient, especially at breakfast, cleaning and in reception. This time of year it was a bit chilly mornings and evenings which required wood heaters set by your table at breakfast and turning aircon on to heat mode at night though this became unnecessary after a few days.We moved rooms as the first was facing the nightclub. Banging techno music from 9 pm to 1 am with associated street noise after closing. I'd have loved it at one time but now just too old! The second room was much better and larger. The architecture and breakfast service was great. Lots of small tapas dishes each morning with slight variations on the eggs. Lots of cheeses, bread, olives, some sausage in sauce, slices of orange and a free flask of black tea. Coffee or orange juice was an extra cost. Once or twice we had snacks in the restaurant which were delicious and home made. We usually went to Luna Gardens or across Ataturk Cadessi to restaurants which were much cheaper. Down by the harbour, prices were like London prices but enjoyed a few delicious bowls of soup there. The old harbour is beautiful daytime or night for a walk or drink and it felt very safe.I did the Duden Falls boat trip of 45 mins, which was quite nice though not spectacular. The Byzantium and Ethnography museums were excellent, beautiful and interesting. Lots to see around the area, good walks along the coast towards Lara. The star of this place is the mountain range, which were snow capped and gorgeous. Mediterra Art Hotel is very central and is good value. I'd certainly go back again.People were friendly and welcoming, especially the waiters and cleaning staff - the place is spotless - an elderly fellow selling jewelry at the look out stage above Kaleici old harbour was a beautiful character. The markets and shops were a pain with incessant sales pitches which drove you away! No peace to browse but that's how it is, everyone trying to make a living.

    Fantastic location

The location is outstanding - in the middle of old town and very easy to access the old markets, beach and transport. It can be quite noisy - bringing earplugs is a good idea! The staff really make this place. Sherif made us feel incredibly welcome.
