  The worst place on earth

  I don't know what to say about this place for real! When we arrived on the hotel there was waiting some old dude deadly look on his face no welcome or something else. This was just a beginning. When we finally get the room the reality jump on our faces. There was no basic furniture and tv or smallfridge doens't even worked.Next day we try to get a free shuttlebus to the beach. The note in our room says that the buses goes every day 10 and 11 o'clock. We didn't get the 10 bus because the schedule is now 9.30 and 10.30 says the hotel stuff. Okay, why this information is failed on the rooms? Jesus! The hotel restaurant menu looking okay. When we try to order some food the stuff says that they dont have food available anymore because the chef has quit. Why the menu shows every where on the hotel if you don't have a food available? There was a small pool area but bringing your own water on the pool area was permitted? For real! I understand the alcohol but the water too? Almost every hotel guest has something to complain about for the hotel. The Stuff was also lazy as hell for example. We arrived to the hotel desk to catch our roomkey. The dude just ingnore us and continue resting on the sofa! Could i have the key, please? Then he slowly get up and walk to the desk. Jesus what a place! I don't understand why some people have give some positive feedback for this place? They have to be the hotel stuff! I don't recommended this place not even my worst enemy!

  Just perfect from start to finish,exactly what we wanted.

  Perfect,we loved staying here,we went here for my wife's 40th birthday and booked room only for a week,the room was basic but clean and perfect for our needs,we paid the extra($35 euros) for the aircon which we thought was cheap for the week,we had a fridge and their was a safe in the room which we didn't use.All of the staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome,they adored our three year old daughter and treated her as a princess giving her fresh fruit and walnuts and making her first holiday really special.We ate at the hotel a few times and the food was always good and fresh,Turkish breakfast was buffet style and consisted of fresh boiled eggs,cheese,tomatoes,cucumbers,olives,luncheon meat and lovely fresh bread,chocolate and marmalade spreads,turkish tea and coffee and two fresh fruit juices.Also on one occasion we were late and there was no eggs left but Resat offered to make us an omellete that was yummy.We also had snacks from the pool bar which were,cheese burgers,hotdogs,chicken sandwiches-these are amazing and a must try if you like doner kebab) and hand cut chips,always cooked to order and very cheap.For my wifes birthday,Erkan the hotel manager offered to cook us a meal if we paid for the ingredients,he set up a table with table cloths and flowers and along with another british couple we enjoyed a lovely turkish cuisine that was amazing,Erkan also helped me buy a chocolate birthday cake which was made the same day and delivered to the hotel fresh on the day which he decorated with candles and later presented to my wife,the cake was amazing and would of cost a fortune in the uk.Another evening Erkan made a chicken curry for us which cost 40TL for the three of us to eat it was served with freshly baked turkish bread which was still warm and freshly cooked hand cut chips,the curry was amazing one of the best I have had it was like chinese but more spiced,we all smashed it.The hotel grounds were always clean as were the pools,there is a lovely garden area which has pear trees,lime treas,cactus and other exotic vegetation and is also home to tortoises including a baby one and a cock with hens and lots of chicks which our daughter loved.Our room was cleaned daily with bedding and clean towels changed accordingly,the shower was fiddly to get a nice temp,but obtainable with a bit of patience,the fridge was more like a cool box,if you put your beer in cold it keeps it cold.To sum up,we will definitely return here,it was a perfect relaxing holiday,the pool was never crowded and there was always ample sunbeds.Location is good,its away enough to be quiet but only 15TL to get a taxi to Side and the same to return,there is also plenty of decent restaurants nearby which are all good.If your after an unwinding holiday go ahead and book you won't regret it.

  Still a great little hotel in a great destination

  This was our third visit to the Myra. It is a great little hotel in a great destination. There are new staff, all of whom work to may your stay special. The restaurant has improved and food is good and well priced. House keeping was very good. There was a great atmosphere and some impromptu parties in the bar.The Myra is quite a small hotel on the outskirts of Side, but still only 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes taxi to the centre. They have 2 pools and one with a water slide. The hotel is ideal for families although caters for a range of people. There were all ages visiting this year. They have a bus to the beach. The restaurant and bar is at the side of the pool. There is lots to do in Side. There is the traditional beach and nightlife, but coupled with amazing archaeology to visit.

  Nice place - a bit far to the center - but ok with the walk. But verry nice people at the hotel!!! You are going to be a part of the family! No problem going back there!! Cleane and nice rooms. Just try it!!
