    Nice Hotel in Kamari

    rating23 Sept 2025

Booked two rooms at the Blue Sea Hotel in Kamari for 5 nights. We stayed in the annex building across from the main reception area. The rooms had 3 single beds which were comfortable. The grounds are well kept and both pools are warm/clean with generous seating areas. The breakfast was great and had something different each day. Minutes walking distance to the beach and several bars/restaurants/markets.The hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk from the only bus terminal in Kamari. If you're feeling adventurous you can climb Mesa Vouno between Kamari and Perissa Beach - it takes about 45-60 minutes each way from the hotel but has great views.Only issues we had was in one of the rooms the AC made loud noises and would start and stop without prompting. The room would actually vibrate from the noise. The hotel had maintenance check it out but they never fixed the problem which contributed to poor sleeps. The hotel offered to have us switch rooms for 1 of the nights as they were booked solid. We kept the room and had most of the guest sleep in the other one for the duration which was less than ideal. The other issue was the smell of the bathrooms which was very "sewery" and mentioned in previous reviews. As we were traveling with a party of 6 (3 adults/3 kids) I was happy we chose Kamari over the other towns in Santorini. Although beautiful and worth day trips to Oia, Fira, Akrotiri and Perissa. Kamari offered a central location, close to the airport, with beach, restaurants and was much flatter for walking than the other towns.Other than some issues I was happy with the hotel choice.

    Brilliant stay

    rating08 May 2025

Absolutely brilliant hotel the staff are lovely and very accommodating. Went on a trip with my sister and 15 month old nephew the family room was huge and big enough for all 3 of us. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday, the hotel itself its beautiful and clean breakfast was a good selection. For the price we paid i would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff really go out of their way they were so lovely with my nephew. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Santorini. The location of the hotel is also fantastic and close to everything. 100% recommend.

    Warm hospitality

    rating30 Apr 2025

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Sea Hotel! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and quick with a smile and a "hello". We loved the location, at the end of the road, so there wasn't a lot of traffic noise or other people, but it was just a couple hundred yards or so from the beach, restaurants, shops and the bus route. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious with a large variety of hot and cold items, and the rooms and grounds were immaculate. We will definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Good choice for a peaceful stay!

    rating16 Aug 2024

We stayed at Blue Sea Hotel between Aug 14 to Aug 17.The hotel is situated 15 mins walk from Kamari Bus stop. Its 2 mins walk from Kamari Beach and a plethora odlf restuarants and shops awaits the visitor. Its on the other side of the island and reasonably far away from FIRA and the Thira port. Buses are the only mode of commute (private cabs can be expensive).Rooms are very nicely done, spacious and cleanOnly bit of challenge for us was the elevator not available and our room was on the first floor. There are multiple Swimming pool (i guess 2) and with proper set up amd facilities.Staff is very helpful - from reception to restaurants. Breakfast had few options of juices, fruits, yoghurt and salads for vegetarians.Recommended if you want a peaceful place in Santorini.

    Warning❗️⚠️. Executive Suites..

    rating29 Jul 2024

Okay, this particular review is specifically aimed at anyone considering getting the Executive Suites like I unfortunately did.If you’re just spending £500-£600 on a basic room then the hotel is okay I guess, there’s honestly nothing special & the breakfasts are pretty poor tbh & the coffee is probably the worst on the whole island I suspect, so if you’re getting a cheap & cheerful room, then you get what you pay for. However, this is the warning that I wish someone had written before I decided to book here. If you like gambling your hard earned cash on the nice looking executive suites they advertise so sneakily then beware. I booked the nice ‘private’ looking Executive Suite, it even had the pictures of that room all over my paid for booking. However when I arrived they took me to a ground floor room with a small outside area that honestly was over looked by no fewer than 4 different balconies!.. I have video clips to prove it too. If you don’t want any privacy then don’t worry, because you definitely won’t have any. Anyway I said this isn’t the room I booked & they said they’re all Executive Suites.. I said I don’t care, it isn’t what I spent a lot of money on. Long & short they reluctantly moved me to another slightly better room, but still not the one I booked & it ‘still’ had little privacy.I strongly advise you to spend the extra money elsewhere because as the receptionists said, those few good ones are first come first served! It’s an Absolute lottery.
