  Don't be fooled by the beautiful photos. The hotel rooms don't look the same. Very outdated and everything is loose or broken.When we arrived we didn't notice the fantastic service. We had a room on the 6th floor, but we were not told that the last floor is only accessible via the stairs.The room smells incredibly strongly of sewage. This was a smell that kept coming back throughout the week.They don't clean the floors either during housekeeping.There is only one elevator that is used by the staff (kitchen, housekeeping) and all guests from 6 different floorsWe were charged too much, but to date (a month later) this amount has still not been paid back. We are constantly referred from one person to another. A manager is also NEVER available. You get a person on whatsapp but after a couple messages, they just point blake ignore you.In my opinion these are modern day SCAM practices. They try to do everything they can to avoid paying you back.Our experience is not very pleasant and I do not understand where all these positive reviews come from. I don't believe this is from real guests.

  Very Disappointing Stay: lacking hotel basics

  SEA & CITY DEVRAN HOTEL:•Hotel is below standards and lacking the basics of industry standards•room size: uncomfortably small room, below hotels industry standards •walls built with very poor material, I can hear details of everything in the other rooms •one of the hotel staff was very rude and didn’t want to send water bottles to my room •loud sound and continues noise: hotel is placed right beside a nightclub with speakers sound playing till after mid night and continues to very late hours •No room service: only till 4:00PM •hotel corridor to reception is very smelly •no elevator reaching the 5th floor, you have to use the stairs every-time •no bell staff service to manage the heavy travel suitcases to and from the rooms •hotel taxi service: very bad quality vehicle with very expensive charge. Drove me to airport, AC not working in hot weather •electricity power room is placed right infront of my room, making continues noise each time elevator works •Pictures are deceiving: what they are showing on their booking page is not real

  Lovely room & view but the noise at night is too much!

  I had a lovely room with a great sea view, it was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the first couple of days despite building works going on in the hotel, which I wasn't aware of when booking. The noise at night was sometimes loud but I could tolerate it. Then a cockroach appeared in my room. Chemicals were sprayed but unfortunately, the next day there were two more cockroaches in my room. I asked them to fill in the gaps under the wardrobe and this seemed to solve the problem. Then the noise at night got worse - the dog from the shop below barked loudly at intervals throughout the night and there was loud singing until 2.30am from a bar nearby. It's OK if you like to stay up late and party, but I like my sleep. After 2 nights of this I decided I had to find somewhere else to stay. I checked with the manager that I would get a refund and he agreed. Unfortunately, he omitted to tell me that because I left in the afternoon, they charged me for the night that I was leaving, which seemed rather churlish considering the noise and the cockroaches. The breakfast was ok as long as you ate before 9.30 when the hot food ran low. The cleaning staff and waitress in the breakfast area were lovely. The view wasn't great from the restaurant as there were chairs and tables stacked up. There was nowhere nice to sit and lounge around the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel if you like to go to bed before 12 and get a good night's sleep.

  Value and quality met my expectations

  I would say that the price I paid met my expectations. Room was clean and quite modern, well maintained , I have attached pictures, also bathroom was modern and clean.. I was lucky to get best room of my class with the sea view and extra bed. Every day housekeeping service and good Turkish breakfast. Receptionist was really polite and helpful, special thanx to him, he is very helpful and attentive. I would recommend this hotel for living

  Local not friendly to tourist

  We visiting the restaurant / bar during day for a drink and staff very friendly, the bar area is clean, well kept and comfortable. The same night we returned to the bar/restaurant for food and drinks but 1 local girl (I do not think she worked in bar) was very rude as soon as we approached she abruptly stated “we do not speak English” but a boy then came and served us drinks. But whilst enjoying our drinks the same girl stared at us and laughed. We did not order food, we drank our drinks and left. The experience made me anxious and we will not return rest of holiday
