Location

The beach is 750 m from the hotel, and Side, with its selection of bars and restaurants, is only 900 m away. Nearby public transport makes the attractions of the ancient ruins of Side, the Manavgat Waterfalls and the Oymapinar Dam easily accessible. Antalya Airport is roughly 75 km from the hotel.

Facility

30 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk makes check-in and check-out easy. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy an entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.     Enjoyable stay at the Selenium Hotel

    I stayed at the Selenium Hotel with a friend in April 2026. I really enjoyed my week there. I booked through Love Holidays and the trip was very good value. The hotel is very clean and the staff worked hard and were very friendly. It is true that there is some repetition with food but I always found food I liked. One morning there were mini croissants, another morning there were pancakes and on another occasion there were fried eggs. It is self-service buffet style and the salad section was good and the hot dishes included chicken, chips, potato wedges and rice/pasta in various forms and vegetables. There was some meat as well, although I think this was more limited. In the evening, there was vegetable soup which was good and varied. Dessert was a creamy custard dessert like a creme caramel or little cakes in syrup or fruit which was usually apples.The staff at the hotel were super friendly. A shout out to Albert who worked behind the bar, who spoke excellent English and was very polite and friendly and Omer who worked behind the bar and in the restaurant area who always had a smile for us and who spoke good English. He made us laugh on a number of occasions.The hotel is in a good location just next to a park. It is a 10 to 14 minute walk to the beach and there is a private area that is roped off where you can get a sun lounger courtesy of the hotel. Some of the beach outside of the roped off areas belonging to various hotels is public. One of the roads leading down to the beach has multiple shops. We walked along the sea front to old Side. The walk took about 25 minutes at our pace. You can see the ruins of a Greek temple there. It is well worth seeing. We also booked 2 trips through Get your Guide - one to Antalya with a visit to the waterfall included and another was a boat trip on the Manavgat river which is a really pleasant trip and to the market/bazaar in the afternoon.I had a fantastic time in Side staying at the Selenium. The sun shone every day. If you want a small, very friendly hotel in a great location then this is for you.

    We were a little unsure about what to expect, previous reviews can be not the best BUT.....yes the food can be not the most varied but we always found somethinf to eat.. the room wasn't the biggest but it was always spotless and the shower worked fine.staff were great and a big thank you to Hassan..😊We simply don't understand how they do it for the money... If you want 5** go and pay for it elsewhere... if you want value for money this place ticked our boxes.. Would we go back? yes happily...Steve & Pat

    I booked a week at short notice to the Selenium for a great price with On the Beach. I needed to unwind after what has been a stressful few months and thats exactly what Selenium deliveredPrevious reviews about this hotel are correct in that is a littke dated in its decor, but then in my opinion it is not dis-similar from a lot of 3* hotels that I have stopped at, but it is nipping clean , the bed was comfortable and there was an unlimited supply of hot water The staff are a credit to the manager Mustifa, they are friendly, extremely helpful and not at all pushy , the latter a trait I do not like, Hasan, helped us a lot in the first few days acclimatising to Side and local ameneties, the bar staff and the night porter all going the extra mile to ensure that our holiday was a stress free experience There is no entertainment, but in a small hotel like Selenium it issnt difficult to make friends with the other residents and despite the language barriers we all enjoyed many relaxing evenings I enjoyed the hamam, Myra, the masseur made a tailored programme for me and it eased my long standing back problemThe hotel caters predominantly to German clients and to be honest the only reason I gave this hotel 4*s. Whilst most of the food was well cooked and presented, it didnt suit my English palette, which is in truth me accepting Im not as Cosmopolitan as I thought I was....I will need to teach the chef how to make Yorkshire puddings to finish off his delicious roast dinner!!The Selenium Hotel is a good base if youre visiting the Side area, it is in a good location with good transport links to Kumkoy and Managvet , a 10 minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes from the Saturday market

    This is a wonderful hotel, it is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. We are having a fabulous holiday here, I would highly recommend it here
