  Not only close to Gare TGV, but also nice

  We were extremely surprised by this hotel, we knew, it should be conveniently situated close to the Gare TGV (as it was!) and it looked quite well maintained on the pictures, but still the friendliness of the staff, the benevolence towards their customers really surprised us - the warm welcome by Léandre as well as, to continue, the attentive service at the bar by a very cheerful and smiley, fluent German speaking barman did impress us. We did not have much dealings with the other stuff, but what we noticed, what that it all proved to be of the same standard. The rooms were pleasantly furnished, cleverly arranged and clean. The Spa was unfortunately closed, but nevertheless it was a very nice experience and we will certainly return agin.   Rooms were clean, but very worn out.Thinnest bath towels I’ve ever seen. In my opinion, the hotel is in dire need of renovations. The staff was very friendly.   I had a great stay...Staff was helpful, the room was nice. The restaurant was fantastic. It's very close to the TGV station, which is a bit out of town.   Nice but small rooms and a drive into town

  The hotel is a short drive into the town and main tourist attractions and has parking available. The decor is nice, but the room was very small. It was hard to get into suitcases with very limited floor space. There was only a curtain separating the bathroom and bedroom sections rather than a solid wall. The spa facilities were nice (not included in room rate though). Breakfast was fairly good (buffet style) but was in an open-plan restaurant/reception and the atmosphere was impacted by a large & loud group of 50+ stood having drinks in the reception. It felt more of a business event than holiday breakfast.
