Location

This hotel lies in the tourist district of the town approximately 200 m from the nearest sandy beach. Between the beach and the hotel lies a sand hill with historical ruins and it is just a few minutes walk to countless shopping venues, restaurants and bars (500 m). Links to the public transport network can be found in the near vicinity. Antalya airport is 55 km from the hotel.

Facility

The resort was renovated in 2024. 462 rooms are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and 4 auxiliary buildings. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The resort offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel doctor. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A business centre with projector, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Included in the standard features of some rooms is a terrace, whose beautiful ambience is largely created by a stunning view of the sea. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. The bathrooms have a shower and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The resort has family rooms and 250 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools (no extra charge). Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A waterslide and a refreshing drink at the poolside snack bar offer the perfect way to unwind. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, basketball, archery and Nordic walking. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, callisthenics, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, bowling. There is a wellness area with a sauna and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a spa, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Third-party operators offer a spa, beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

The dining area includes a lobby bar. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, à la carte, air conditioning and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive special can be booked. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. Baby food is available upon request (free). The resort also offers snacks. For guests, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as international brands are included.

    Wonderful resort for food lovers

    Our second visit to Side Star Resort was a great success. We would like to thank the resort's customer service team for all the arrangements that made it possible to have a great holiday. The room was great and the cleaning team took care of everything. The lovely ladies kept the room in impeccable condition. The resort's dining options meet the wishes of even the most demanding customer. Healthy and tasty food was enjoyed daily and the service staff worked efficiently. The swimming pool is large and you can swim in it perfectly even though the water temperature is cool. After a few minutes, the feeling was enjoyable and the slight coolness was no longer a problem. We were positively surprised when we received regular customer membership and we can promise that we will be returning customers. The resort's barber services were already familiar from last year and our hair was done again. The price-quality ratio is excellent. I can recommend the resort to everyone. The German language is good and many also speak English.

    Having stayed at this resort for the 3rd time in 3 years. Sadly this will be our last stay at this hotel. The bar staff are first class and the hotel is spotlessly clean, however there is a significant amount of Russians this year at the hotel and this has had a significant impact on the atmosphere. The animation team are the poorest that the hotel has had in the 3 years we have been coming to the hotel. However one member of the animation team stood out and was exceptional his name was Ishmeal and he really made such a lovely effort with us and is a real asset to the hotel. The entertainment in the evening is very poor and that is being kind! The food especially over a 2 week holiday is bland and repetitive. Drinks are good especially with the selection in international branded spirits, however some the cocktails were very syrupy. As the evening entertainment is so poor, there is only some many nights where you want to go to the bazaar, as you are constantly hassled. The hotel is great for a short value for money break, however as we now have been to Side for some 9 years, there are far better hotels for a longer stay. We do plan to come back to Side next year but will look for a better hotel especially with regards to the quality of the food and evening entertainment

    Hotel is very good!!! Nice people Nice personnel and the animation team is also very good and funny. The fitness instructor Ishmeal is very good and a Nice person! The good is always good and the hotel is always clean.

    Great holiday at great location with little distance to the beach and pool. The food is some of the best we’ve ever had in resorts and super diverse in offering. The restaurants (Turkish) were also a delight. Drinks and import beverages are also surprisingly broad in offering.We had the duplex family room because we like the space and want to be all in the same room. Sadly, the noises from neighboring rooms was really noticeable by the lack of noise insulation/isolation for the rooms. We even transferred to another room, to no avail. Price/value of the rooms is therefore not up to standard. Minibar is refilled most of the time, plenty of choice here as well. I revisited this resort after some 20 years ago and was not pleasantly impressed with the commercials around the hotel. You have all these shops in the hotel, spa and photography. Everyone is somewhat pushy to get you in the stores. Understandably, this happens outside of the resort on the street markets but it is annoying to experience in the hotel. The pricing in the hotel is also based on haggling, something that kinda breaks the experience of being in a luxurious hotel. So, aside from the room noise and commercials the rest of the experience was wonderful. Staff and animation are really friendly and work really hard for everyone. Activities were mostly OK around this time of the year. Hygiene and food sanity is for sure a big plus here and overall the hotel is always beautiful on the rock cliff. Lots of stairs, not bothered by it but maybe not for everyone.
