The hotel was not as advertised on love holidays they showed lovely rooms with nice beds but turns out that was the new build and me and my partner ended up in the run down old building with 2 single beds and towels for bed sheets in one of the dirtiest rooms I've seen from a all inclusive holiday. In addition to this I could barley stand in the room and was warned to watch my head...

    Great vacation

The hotel exceeded our expectations. After reading some of the reviews, I didn't know what to expect. The staff was smiling, helpful and friendly. Clean everywhere. Absolutely exceptional cuisine. The chef was always present. We were in the new building, very satisfied. We never go to the same place, but we want to go here next year too

    Cheap and not so cheerful

    rating29 Aug 2024

Just returned (today) from 10 days here with my son and 2 grandchildren aged 9&11 years.Initial reception was ok, as a basic level of English was spoken and we were taken to our 2 rooms- on separate floors but equal in size etc.We were charged 1€ per day for each device for internet and 1€ per day for a safe- (none refundable). The internet was poor and intermittent which was really annoying. The a/c in mine and my granddaughters room constantly dripped when on and despite raising this twice, it wasn’t repaired. We were offered an alternate room which was in the attic, but we accepted as the a/c worked on day 3.Rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels provided on each occasion. There was a small fridge provided in each room with complimentary water bottles included. We were the only English guests in the hotel, being primarily occupied by Eastern Europeans who are clearly the preferred nationality.Only 2 of the staff spoke very basic English and that was patchy, making communications really challenging. There was no entertainment provided and no facilities other than a ping pong table ( we had to buy bats and balls 😂) and a basketball hoop with no net.The main pool had a flume which ran approx 10-2 & 3-5- no lifeguards but the children liked the fact that they could take inflatables in the pool and down the flume with no whistle blowing. The food was basic and repetitive and the restaurant was always pretty busy with long queues always for some of the stations. No one advised us that lunch was served at the beach bar- I only found out via another trip advisor review!Drinks are local and not great- the 4 ‘cocktails’ are unimaginative and a few different liquids slopped into a plastic cup. The lager is not great either. The hotel is situated near a main road, completely surrounded by other hotels and a strip of shops- primarily selling designer copies. There are no local restaurants to go to, unless you take a 15 minute bus ride (2€ each) or taxi (10-15€) each way to Side where there are quite a few different ones located. The beach was nice, plenty of sunbeds and a looped free bus service to and from the hotel so basically one every 10 minutes or so, but max 15 people so cab get busy around lunchtime (12-2).This was a really reasonably priced holiday, booked last year, but to be honest, you get what you pay for and didn’t unfortunately offer us either value for money or a relaxing, enjoyable holiday experience which is what we wanted.😢 nail okumus, Müşteri Hizmetleri / Ön Büro at Silver Hotel, responded to this review Dear 123-sues,First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing our hotel and for sharing your experience with us. I can't recommend this place

    rating30 Jul 2023

This was my second vacations in Turkey and I won't be going back for a while.I'll go straight into the bad things:- staff was very unwelcoming, rude and didn't know English, so it was very hard to communicate. We didn't even received information that lunches were on the beach restaurant, until we realized that 90% of people suddenly went missing. - I got a room in the attic and the AC was working 50/50, most of the times it didn't work. I bet you can imagine the temperature in a room without AC in August in Turkey. I reported this to the staff but without any results. The rooms were very basic, with old CRT TV on a shelf. At least they were clean. There was no shampoo, shower gel and stuff like that except for a soap.- food was OK, but there was only one restaurant for breakfast and dinner which resulted in very long queues. You had to wait 15-20 minutes to grab your food. There was too little place and too many people. The lunch restaurant was at the beach, and you had to either walk around 15 minutes through asphalt and 2 intersections in 38 degrees, or take the hotel bus, which was departing and arriving randomly (last one was at 5 pm)- bar - there was only one bar, and it was closing after 9 pm. Drink were one of the worst I've ever had a chance to drink. Often there was no bartender available because he was picking up cups from around the pool in the meantime and you had to wait.- no music, no entertainment, no lifeguard. After 9 pm there was nothing to do. At least you could drink your own alcohol bought in the nearby supermarket.- location - In 10 km radius there was nothing except hotels, bazaar and supermarket.Only positive was a beach (not a private but rather shared between couple of hotels), sandy with smooth descent and the lunch restaurant near the beach.Overall I don't recommend going to this hotel.

dirt and stench at every step, even by the sea

At the moment, when we arrived at the hotel at 3:10 AM (on the next day of beginning of our vacation trip), we realized very soon that we will have a lot of problems while trying to communicate in English. Although the receptionist claimed to speak English, he just stared at me for each of my questions as if he expected further explanation. When we managed to speak half English and half German, we were placed in our "Superior" room with a safe, Wi-Fi access and a large balcony. When we entered the room, it was about 40 degrees Celsius, but the air conditioner was working and we quickly solved that. In the morning, I opened the balcony door and quickly found out that we (my wife and I) got an attic room with a balcony measuring approx. 80 x 100 cm. Ok, it will be something, I think. Then I started searching for a safe, which was supposed to be included in the price, but it was not there. I walked up to the reception desk to ask where they hid it, and since I asked the question in English, the receptionist starts looking for the key. When I somehow managed to stop him and explain that I can't find the safe, he calls a colleague, and he explains to me that there is no safe and that it must be additionally paid for and then installed in the room....
