  Don’t stay here it’s shockingly awful.

  All I can say is the pictures are amazing & DON’T look anything like it does in real life. this place is a DUMP. filthy, disorganized, extremely basic room, mold in the shower. The main photos is th room we got put in.. standard room sea view.. see my pictures to see the ram view. I checked in and I immediate checked out. Thank goodness I booked with Expedia because they helped me move.

  Stay at a scammer hotel

  We had a very bad experience staying with these thieves, we booked this hotel via Booking.com (month 5/2022), at this stage we asked to debit our card but the hotel confirmed that we could pay at our arrival, The day of our arrival, they tried to charge our card, so we asked via message that we will pay by cash once at the hotel since we were already at Bodrum airport.As planned we checked in by paying by cash, and we settled in the room was very poor nothing comparing with the photos posted on booking, but we decided to stay there given the good location (Bodrum center ) everything was fine we spend a very nice evening at the bodrum center, and we was very happy.The next morning we were surprised by the cancellation of our reservation by the host on booking.com, because of the credit card when we had paid the entire stay on our arrival, this will mean that we are no more protected by the platform, since we have already gone to the beach, we sent a message to find out the reasons for this cancellation, but we did not receive any answer, after our return to the hotel after a day in the beach, we asked for explanations, the manager told us what was the point of keeping the reservation on booking.com when you were already accommodated?We were really worried and frustrated because of this behavior unworthy of the host, so we went back to the room and we directly checked our belongings and the big surprise, they stole 400 euros of the amount of money we had, and actually our stay in this hostel became very dangerous, we went down to see the manager directly, who ignored us telling us that the hotel is running by the whole family (hotel staff) and if you want to go to the police you can do it , We contacted the police directly who came after about fifteen minutes. At first we encountered communication difficulties since he spoke only one language, Turkish, but the police were very kind and they tried to help us by communicating via google translate, the manager of the hotel was very furious and wanted to kick us out at 11 p.m. in a city full of people and where the availability of hotels was really rare, without reimbursing us for the two remaining nights, but thanks to the police we were able to be reimbursed and they found us a hotel not far away, we thank them from the bottom of our hearts, The police explained to us that they could not do anything as there was no violation. We complained to booking.com about this incident and our surprise was that the manager confirmed to booking.com that we never came to the hotel, but thank god we had messages exchanged as well as the photos taken in the establishment we had our evidence.We are writing this review today for you tourists or travelers who want to stay at this hotel to tell you that this hotel is not secure at all, they are thieves, scammers, me and my wife we have experienced a very very bad experience, Angora Hotel ruined our stay that we had planned for 4 months with care and love.

  Close to great restaurants and activities and the upstairs pool give a fabulous view of the harbour BUT the rooms themselves are very much in need of updating, renovating or just some basic TLC. I stayed there for a total of 3 weeks over a 6 week period, the staff really are lovely and the rates were good. As a senior solo traveler, I felt totally safe.

  I was there in September 2019 . For first , on reception I was charged twice more than all nice motels around ( 250 instead of 150 how shows on all websites for this hotel . Receptionist asked to divide my payment. ) . Room was disgusting. very old , looking really bad. Picture and reality far from each other . 5 days staying : not even once room had cleaning. There is roof with nice view, Only one small plus. In the end reception guy asked me to put good rate for staying. No! Will not suggest this place.

  Good position but poor ugly rooms

  This hotel was nice and close to the main scenic waterfront restaurants and activities but the hotel itself was crappy. We booked 3 rooms and they all had smelly ensuites, cramped, ugly , very poor quality. Really bad. The views from roof top pool were great and the roof top pool itself was ok, but too many dangerous slippery tiles. The stair case going to the pool was dangerous and actually fell down the stairs. The so called free wifi was non existent. Hardly worked. Not the nicest of hotels unfortunately, 2 stars at best with only its great convenient position and great roof top views being worthwhile .
