  Truly Special Hotel-We Didn't want to Leave!

  Baia was one of those places where everything comes together perfectly-the beautiful location, the elegant atmosphere, incredible food, wonderful wine, and most importantly, people who genuinely care about their guests.I want to start with a very special thank you to Caner. He was incredibly helpful with our reservations and made sure everything was handled perfectly. His attention and kindness made such a difference to our stay. Another special thank you, to the two sisters Turkiz and Asena, who speak multiple languages and were very professional, warm, kind, and absolutely wonderful to us. The kitchen deserves a huge compliment as well. The quality and attention to detail were excellent. I also really love the hotel's "B" logo-Bentley and Balenciaga. It perfectly reflects the style and feeling of the property: elegant, sophisticated, and luxurious, while still feeling welcoming. But what really says everything about our experience is what happened when it was time to leave. I was crying and heartbroken to say goodbye.Thank you to the entire Baia team for making our stay unforgettable. You have created something truly special! The best of the best-we can't wait to come back!

  Enjoyable Stay

  We have just returned from a week at the hotel and had an enjoyable timeOn arrival check in was very quivk with little explained to us other than being told to use the QR code to access the hotel app for all information about the hotelWe used the app and it is informative and useful to have bit a more personal explanation of things would have been niceThe hotel is spotlessly clean in public and private areas and the grounds are well maintained Our room was large, plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. The toiletries supplied in the shower were very good quality The pool is big and we never had a problem getting a sun bed no matter the time of dayThe jetty gets busy early but beds were still available. There are large king sized mattresses along one edge of the pool, not thst we wanted one but people were reserving them st about 5am!!Beach towels are provided and you can change them whenever you wantThe quality and brands of drinks is very good and decent measures are served. The beer was one of the better AI beers that I have hadThere is a massive choice of food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served at seafront restaurant and you need to use the QR code to access the menuThe staff were pleasant and helpful although the majority only spoke very little English which made ordering food and drink a little challenging at times...but we got by.There is a small shop on site selling snacks, sweets, toiletries, toys etc, the chap running is very helpfulA taxi to Bodrum is about £24 each way but is worth the trip, dont expect conversation from the taxi drivers as they don't speak English There is a nice flat 10 minute walk to the town lined with nice bars and restaurants but each one seems to have the same items on the menu, all being Turkish dishes. We did not see a "foreign" restaurant The hotel is spread out and finding your way around is difficult, especially if your room is not in the main building, until after a few days you get your bearingsThere were not many English guests staying at the hotel during our stay, maybe it was the time of year?We enjoyed our stay but felt the hotel and area itself is aimed at Turkish guests with little or no English being spoken and the majority of food in the hotel was Turkish cuisine, that said we never went hungry!!   Wonderful stay, fantastic staff & gorgeous food

  Still here enjoying our 7 nights stay with our 18 year old twins. The hotel is beautiful. I am a picky eater and the food is fabulous. Changes every day. How the staff manage to produce such delicious food and in such quantity I don't know? The staff, every single one of them is so committed to making the guests have the best time they work so hard. The hotel has spotless rooms cleaned every day. Every area is spotless. The gardens and outside spaces are beautiful. Mosquitoes, you take necessary precautions and use room spray & repellents. It is a big hotel but you get use to layout. Entertainment, I am with my family so not a priority, but seems ok. Use yellow taxis to get into Bodrum and back, really cheap and accessible. We have had a wonderful stay and sad to leave. We will be back! Well done Team Baia.   Beautiful Views, But We Expected Much More

  We expected a much higher standard. The room we booked with a garden view actually overlooked only a small patch of grass and a fence, with a technical service area behind the hedge where noisy equipment operated around the clock. It was practically impossible to use the terrace because of the large number of aggressive mosquitoes.Our friends booked a room for three adults, yet one of them had to sleep on a folding bed.I would rate the cleanliness 4/5. The room had only a capsule coffee machine – there was no kettle. The TV offered only two Polish channels, and the picture often froze during football matches.The food was repetitive. Although breakfast and dinner offered a wide selection, it was essentially the same every day. Lunch offered only a limited choice of dishes, sometimes with unusual combinations, and some meals were served lukewarm or even cold instead of hot. The Starbucks coffee and drinks were disappointing, and ice cream was available only as pre-packaged ice cream bars.The evening entertainment was very modest – about 1.5 hours of live music on a small outdoor stage, mostly in Turkish.The hotel has only one swimming pool, with a uniform depth of 135 cm throughout. There is no sandy beach – access to the sea is via stairs from a pier. On the positive side, there were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas.The hotel is built on several levels, with many stairs and a confusing layout of corridors, which can be tiring. Bodrum is also quite far away, about 40 minutes by dolmus.The hotel’s greatest strengths are its beautiful views and the surrounding nature. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but we expected much more. There was no real “wow” factor, and we would not choose this hotel again.   Mosquito experience

  I stayed at Baia Bodrum for 7 days, and unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to its price or its 5-star rating.The biggest issue was the huge number of mosquitoes. It was almost impossible to enjoy sitting outside in the evenings because there were mosquitoes everywhere.The food was very repetitive. Almost the same dishes were served every day, with very limited variety and not many options to choose from.The main restaurant was clearly too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel. Every meal felt crowded, and it was often difficult to find a free table.Around the pool, there were more paid cabanas and reserved areas than free sunbeds for regular guests, which was disappointing considering the price we paid for an all-inclusive stay.The cocktails were of very poor quality and were not prepared properly. They were far below the standard expected from a luxury resort.Communication with the staff was also difficult because many employees spoke very little English.During our entire stay, there was only one day with a DJ at the beach. After some guests complained about the music, the entertainment was cancelled and never returned. Overall, the hotel seemed to cater mainly to older guests, and the evening entertainment was extremely poor and disappointing.We have stayed in resorts in Kemer before, and the difference was significant. The resorts there offer much better entertainment, more activities, and a much livelier atmosphere throughout the day and evening.The only thing that truly impressed us at Baia Bodrum was the beautiful view. Apart from that, we felt the hotel was overpriced and did not provide the level of service, facilities, or experience that we expected. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.
