  We decided to walk from Bodrum to Gumbet for a change and something to do.What a mistake,the beachfront is a disgrace and in my opinion a Heath hazard.The photo I have attached is not a one off,it's the same along the whole disgusting sewer.We quickly got into a taxi, breathed a sigh of relief as bodrum appeared, even the taxi driver was laughing as we discussed the affect,our walk had on us

  After seen Alanya, sea and beach Gumbet beach seemed missing basics...People still enjoy so not an issue...plenty to do around.Lots of boat trips and other bays also only short journey by dolmus ( small bus)...

  Awful near Death experience!

  On the first day I used the shower. The pressure from the shower made the shower head fly off and whack me on the face. This left me with two cuts for the remainder of my stay. On the same day I sat on the toilet seat which was broken and it sliced my buttocks open.To top it off I lent on the railings on the balcony to admire the view only to find out the railing was faulty and it collapsed almost sending me to my death. I went and complained to the non English speaking reception who did not even apologize but just said the railings would be fixed.The next day we arrived back from shopping to find the railing had been 'fixed'. That evening my Mother did the exact same thing I did whilst admiring the view and yet again the balcony collapsed, this time luckily I caught my mother which saved her from the fatal fall.When we complained again we were told to put it in writing. DISGUSTING.

  Enjoyed stay @ resort. Staff friendly. Rooms spotless. Highly recommend.Right on the beach. Walking distance from Bar Street. Lots of water activities right on "doorstep". Meals in resort good with a large selection.

  The view and the sea will make it up

  The hotel has a really nice location, the view from room 219 is nice, and the cleaning ladies work is excellent! The problem may be the loud music from the next hotel, but to be honest we had better things to do when we were in the room ;)The breakfast is really poor, don't bother yourself to get out of the bed just for that.The sea is so clear, sandy beach and during the day with kinda lounge music. I really advice you to taste the lemon-mint frozen at the hotel's bar,it's mindblowing!! If you come here to have fun, enjoy the natural beauty of this country, and the company of you beloved ones, you will have a great time. If you come here to find problems and something to complain about all the time, of course you can do this as well.But if you come for luxury, don't choose the cheapest hotel.
