  Good but needs a little freshen up!!

  We wanted a weeks break with a chilled out atmosphere , value for money and a decent pool. All boxes were pretty much ticked. We were one of the last to stay before the hotel shut for the winter and it had the feeling it needed to be. The place could do with a freshen up and I'm sure it will. The comments about food not being hot is very true and nobody wants cold chips even at breakfast ...!!!! Overall we enjoyed the food however and fruits and salads were always fresh with lots of choices. EFES beer was perfectly fine but wines were a bit iffy so we had the odd shorts. Staff were fine with us and always helpful - It does help to translate requests /questions using the phone to Turkish. There are many nationalities staying there we found. Restaurants directly on the beach are very expensive we found but bars like the 'Elvis' 5 mins walk were reasonable.

  Week at the Natur Garden hotel

  I visited this hotel as a solo traveller.The hotel is clean and the rooms a good size and suitable for my needs. Housekeep was carried out every day.The food was "ok" but never very warm, I did take myself out to restaurants a few minutes away for some variety.The pool are was clean, and pretty with all the lawns and shrubs.I did struggle with being a non smoker in the evenings, everyone seemed to smoke which you couldn't get away from around the bar area, which is a shame, so i mostly took myself off down the beach bars.There is no entertainment so is pretty low key, but this is what i wanted.The beach with sun loungers are only a few minutes walk away, but the sun loungers for the hotel are not sign posted, so people from other hotels were sitting on them and then being asked to move. No one spoke English in the hotel and I found most of the staff would not even give you a smile.Would i go back? probably not

  The location is good, 5 minutes walk from the beach area. The swimming pool and garden are really nice. The hotel is quite.The beds are ok but the rooms are very old, damaged and small. The shower smells. We had to change the room upon arrival as the airco didn't work.The food is poor. The coffee is awful.The staff was not friendly.Restaurants are quite expensive in Bitez for food and drinks near the hotel area.

  Worst hotel in 23 years going to Bitez

  Arrived for a 2 week holiday and from the first night it was a disaster. Firstly the room was crammed with a double bed and fold out sofa bed that was like a rock . They were so squished together that we could barely get out of the balcony . The balcony was filthy as was the table which you couldn’t use as it wobbled . Asked for a change of roomed to be offered 2 with no balcony’s . Staff were all rude apart from Micial at the bar . My 8 year old daughter was asked to leave the lunch room as she had a tankini on yet a lady with a red bikini was allowed in no bother . A member of staff took a selfie with my son in it in the background and I asked him could he delete it as my son doesn’t like photos of him taken and he told me I should change my son and then went around chatting to other staff looking at us and laughing . That was the end of my son sitting in the hotel areas . The food was brutal and we are use to Turkish cuisine. One night there was a cockroach upside down on a dessert another night there was chicken obviously taken out of the fridge and added to hot gravy . Meat in particular was always recooked . My daughter pen rolled under the bed and we lifted it and there was months of dirt underneath. The air conditioning leaked water and by the end of first week black liquid started dripping . The shower was full of mould and the bed itself wasn’t clean hidden by clean sheets . The swimming pool has so much chlorine in it that my daughter came out in a rash so for the second week we lived at the beach and ate there . Even when you wash your hands they smell of bleach from the water . This hotel ruined our holiday and for the first time ever we were dying to get home . Never in my life have been to such a hotel in Bitez it was shocking . We were in a room near a staff passage way which also meant a lot of noise from 7 am every morning . They advertised a kids play area yet the slide is legal and broken at theEnd so when my daughter got to the end she tilted off it . Would not recommend this hotel at all and I am not being fussy as I have been to hotels in Bitez as mentioned above for 23 years . Worst experience ever .
