  Absolutle dive 1star and that’s just for the view

  Stayed here as a group of 3 women age 30-35 not normally one to moan as long as we have a clean room and had decent food but this is by far the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Room was really dirty, floors were filthy, when th shower was on sewage was coming out the drain hole, window was actually falling out not just the galss the whole frame. No lights in the room only lamps. Doors don’t lock from the inside. Cleaner let herself in but had another man with her as soon as they see we were in the room walked back out again. We were on the same floor as the reception we expected stairs but this is a lot just to get to the bar and then more to the pool and toilets we struggled some days and are semi-fit. Stairs were very uneven and sharp or broken in a lot of places. Walking around the hotel it all just seems run down a lot of the rooms were just full of bedding or used as storage looked untidy and dirty. And around most corners was staff just sitting around smoking making you feel uncomfortable. Food was ok if you wanted chips and salad most nights. Most food not even hot. Evening entertainment well it was a dj playing really loud music so you couldn’t even talk that was it I woud 100% not recommend this hotel and so surprised it still has a 4* rating it definitely needs to be reviewed. Only good thing is th view is very pretty

  This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at by a country mile Got there late no food made my way to the room via a series of twist and turns outside in the dark no lighting electric plugs were hanging off the walls the patio door was broken missing screws just a pole to hang your clothes no hangers made my way back to the reception to complain fell over on the broken pathway injured my leg and back told I can't have a different Room till the morning food was awful staff mostly teen-agers with hoodys and flip flops most can't speak English no lifts to the restraunt had to struggle with my injury up and down uneven and broken pathway.

  OK for a budget

  The hotel is generally OK as a budget hotel but I would personally not return The rooms are basic, have a fridge but no kettle or drinks facilities. Fridges were stocked with plenty of water. Not a lot of light in the room apart from two lamps and a light near the entrance. In our room, we did have a gap in both the balcony door and in the window which made the room cold at night and the curtains were blowing when it was windy. There are plenty of plug sockets around the room. The shower pressure is quite weak, and also the faucet was covered in limescale. There was lots of wardrobe space with a safe but you have to pay a deposit to use it. The bed was comfy and quite large and it was also one big bed instead of two beds pushed together which was nice. Very outdated in general and probably needs a whole redo. The food in the main restaurant at all sittings (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) were all very nice. Didn’t have one meal that we didn’t enjoy. There were always lots of different choices of food. Only downside to the restaurant was the staff were always on their phones and were generally quite ignorant. Would smile at them and get no response, or ask them for something and felt like we were putting them out. We spent all of our time at the pool on -1 level with it being the easiest to access from the hotel, however the plastic drainage around the pool was broken and on more than one occasion we saw other guests fall through the drain which caused distress and was very unsafeThe major downfall to this hotel is the lack of advertising to the amount of steps that are on site, would highly not recommend if you have any form of mobility issue. The steps themselves are also in need of repair as they are uneven and you could quite easily fall on them. Our personal favourites of staff that were always friendly and had a smile on their faces were Love in the outside bar and Gulten at the inside bar near the pool on -1 level.

  ok if you just want a bed to sleep in and a pool to lounge around.

  Arrived at around 1 in the morning to be given a warm cheese barm cake wrapped in cling film, and a coffee and juice machine for drinks. No bars open or anywhere for something to eat . Got taken to our room which had 7 flights of steps to get to , There was a lift to use for 3 of the flights of steps but it broke twice during our 1 week stay so didn't feel safe using it. Good points = all 3 pools were nice to use although they don't have the padding cushions like the pictures suggest. Food ok if your not a fussy eater. nice views. fresh towels and bedding freshened every day. Bad points = lots and lots of steps unless your staying in the hotel itself. Old tired rooms like rusty taps covered in limescale, shower could do with regrouting and maybe a deep clean of the room and bathroom.
