    Royal asarlik, gumbet

    rating24 May 2026

I went to the royal asarlik hotel expecting a around lovely experience. The hotel looked very nice ,I.e the surroundings. But it stopped there . The Entertainment was really non existent, apart from a belly dance show which lasted 5 min . Really poor .The food was a bit hit and miss . I get there is a lot of people to cater for .But when chips , stew ,sandwiches at breakfast, its a bit weird .Lunch and diner had similar menu . Alot .was not impressed as I have been to Turkey loads of times and the food has been excellent Will have to pay attention to tripadvisor reviews. Fabulous holiday

    rating20 May 2026

I have previously stated I wouldn't go here again. (Been here twice before.) The thing is the hotel and the amenities are so good. So decided to visit again. Right on the beach. 3 adult swimming pools. Childs pool. Loads and loads of sunbeds. Bar and restaurant staff lovely and friendly ( especially Baron ? ) Made us laugh so much. My sister booked with Mustafa a spa treatment which was fabulous. Mustafa very friendly. Always came to say hello every day.Al a carte restaurants were good and no food on tables until you arrived. Loved the Italian best.Unfortunately for us overall ,the restaurant and snack bar food lets it down . Same thing all the time and usually cold. Entertainment on too late for us. 10pm as we early birds up at 7am Guest Relations, Diğer at Royal Asarlik Beach, responded to this review Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are always ready to help our guests to ensure the best vacation. Nice place but loud, food rubbish, not going back👎👎

    rating20 May 2026

Absolutely fantastic views, the grounds are very nice, most of staff very nice some bar staff not so much, not a lot of English people mostly rude baltic (ie Russian).Food not really good unless you like it cold or eggs 😏. Room was nice but this time we had an inside veiw, yes we have been before and loved it but things have changed, snack bar gone in the marine bar witch was good for kids and adults. It is very clean everywhere you can not fault that, value for money was OK as booked 12month earlier, noise level loud in some places as friends kept awake most nights. Things to do usual things for a beach holiday and two nice pools everything gone expensive Guest Relations, Diğer at Royal Asarlik Beach, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for sharing your opinion. We're sorry that some of our services didn't fully meet your expectations. We've noted your comments and will correct them.We also note that the hotel is not responsible for night noise due to Gumbet Bar Street. We hope to see you again and provide you with the best service for better vacation of you.Best regards, Guest relations

The views are amazing! Hotel not so much.

    rating09 May 2026

Very quiet no entertainment because the hotel wasn’t busy enough so the people that still paid for the experience didn’t have much to do in the evening. The room wasn’t the best it wasn’t cleaned properly apart from on the last day when a gentleman came and cleaned and tidied nicely. The toilet dripped constantly and the bathroom smelt bad the mattresses are stained and I dare to look any more because no doubt there would have been bugs or worse stains. Food absolutely terrible! Lived on 3 plates of chips a day. Same food everyday and was either burnt or soggy. Puddings and cakes had a funny taste, ice cream was stringy not like actual ice cream more like a slime texture. Guest Relations, Diğer at Royal Asarlik Beach, responded to this review Dear guest, Thank you for feesback! We take your comment into consideration and share it with the hotel management. We look forward to welcoming you again to bring more positive vibes. Best regards, Guest relations.

    Regrettable choice

    rating03 May 2026

We came to the hotel for the first week of may and there have been many issues.Sadly the place is in dire need of an injection of money to fix a lot of things, and sadly they really should not have opened to public until they were ready for the season. Customer service was excellent, the pools were clean, and the room was okay but unfortunately that's the only good things I can say....The gym - nearly everything broken and rusted..quite unsafe to be honest. There are loose wirings poking out of the floor, floorboards broken and gappy, and machines which were completely unusable and unsafe. The indoor pool is not heated, so it is ice cold. The lights in there, most of them don't work so it is dark and dingy. There is a window which looks out to back of house where staff go for break to smoke. It's uncomfortable and weird. The changing rooms in the spa are just as bad, with showers not working/broken and lockers missing keys. Now, while we were staying, trying to enjoy a drink in the lounge bar, we had a chandelier fall down! Yes you read that correctly...a whole chandelier broke away and fell down from the ceiling. Luckily noone was hurt! The staff seemed very unfazed by this, didn't even ask anyone if they were okay or check to see if anyone had been hurt. They looked, swept up the mess and then walked off like nothing had happened! Now the restaurant situation...advertised wrong because we only had one option..the buffet style restaurant. And the food was...okay, but because it is buffet style it's not great. Well we had no other option but to eat that of go into town and buy a fresher meal! Now atmosphere....well, what atmosphere? No ambient music in the lobby bar or by the relaxing pools, or in the restaurant, but by the'activity pool', no matter the time of day, first thing in the morning or late at night, you are guaranteed to hear raving club music. So either you can rave during the day or sit in silence, that's your options.Snack bar by the pool? Nope not open. A'la carte restaurants s? Yep not open. Cakes and treats by the pool? You guessed it..closed!! Entertainment? What entertainment?!!! And the marine bar, well yeah that was open with rave club music all day long. Again, not a vibe really for 10am is it?!In our room was okay, but the balcony view is just of other balconies, and inside the room the bed is very uncomfortable and the shower is kinda broken. It's really been pretty bad. Just wish we had gone for a b n b in bodrum main area now. Guest Relations, Diğer at Royal Asarlik Beach, responded to this review Dear guest, Thank you for your extensive comment!
