Honestly, this place was a letdown.The AC didn't work, and nobody bothered to fix it even after we asked. The room was hot and uncomfortable.The food was bad – cold, tasteless, and clearly not fresh.Cleanliness? Poor. The room felt dusty and not properly cleaned. And there was this weird, unpleasant smell in the hallway that made it hard to even breathe. Management was awful.For a 4-star hotel, this was really disappointing. I wouldn't stay here again.

Very disappointing experience — poor rooms, bad smell, and refund issuesMy experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing.I was charged for one double room and one single room, but the hotel only provided me with a single room. I was told I would receive a refund for the difference, but the refund was not handled as promised and I only received it a day later.On top of that, the hotel had a very bad smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. The air conditioning was not working in any of the rooms, making the situation even worse.Overall, the room arrangements, cleanliness/odor, air conditioning, and handling of the refund were all very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are properly addressed

As it is a reasonably priced hotel, I would recommend it to couples.

The hotel was generally fine. Check-in was quick, and the room was more spacious and airy than we expected. There was enough space for two people.The bathroom needed some maintenance, but it was clean.The food was varied and tasty. Sometimes there were issues with the temperature.It's within walking distance to the beach. There aren't many issues with sun loungers.

Smart Stay Hotel should not be advertised as anything over a 2 star hotel. The walk to the 'private beach' is through a sewer smelling area and you need to ensure you don't step on dog poop. The Beach is littered with cigarette butts and empty bottles. The food at the hotel is beyond shocking. Practically the same food every day - a choice of some chicken dish or overly cooked fish which is obviously not fresh. Afternoon snack is overly cooked chicken nuggets with plain pasta - a snack for a toddler, not for an adult. After seeing the meals each day, I have chosen to go to an external restaurant. The one positive is the staff who are lovely.
