The hotel needs to be shut down and the city ordinance needs to take the manager license. There are drug trafficking, drug dealers, room completely nasty. I started itching immediately when I stepped in the room. The personally they hired don't change the blankets all the time. I think they use very cheap detergent and messed with allergies. Disgusting

Mold was all over the bedroom ceiling and in the bathroom. Bed bugs and dirty sheets. Management said he could not give us a comp, however, he’ll take $10 off the room. Needless to say, we left and had to take my granddaughter to DUKE ER. We saw housekeeping take the clean sheets out of the dryer and place them on the dirty laundry room floor to be folded. The Indians work front desk, housekeeping and maintenance. The family lives at the property on the 3rd floor in the corner by the steps. THIS MOTEL, BECAUSE IT’S DEFINITELY NOT A HOTEL NEEDS TO HAVE RED ROOF INN POP IN AND DO AN INSPECTION. These Indians DO NOT need to hold THE RED ROOF INN as a franchise!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY AT RED ROOF INN DURHAM,NC RTP.

Indeed, you often get what you pay for. The rooms were devoid of refrigerators and microwaves, which was disappointing. Cleanliness wasn't an issue; it was satisfactory. However, the staff's performance was unsatisfactory and indifferent. A real ghetto staff. During my work stay, I encountered issues with my room key not working on multiple occasions, despite having reservations for a few days. When I sought assistance at the front desk, it was unattended, and a long queue of guests awaited service. The staff had left to purchase food and upon returning, displayed a nonchalant attitude, as if entitled. Ever hear of Door Dash? Uber Eats?? Hotel desk clerks should not be abandoning their posts. On my final morning, I experienced a similar lack of service in the lobby while attempting to get coffee. A staff member arrived but bypassed us without a word, only to be identified later as an employee. She headed upstairs w/o uttering a word. Her failure to acknowledge us or offer a simple apology was unprofessional. The future American work ethic. We are in trouble. Won't be returning.

Stay away....it's a dump

Traveling with my spouse. This property is discusting. This is supposed to be non-smoking property, however the lobby and the room reaked of nicotine and smoke. Even the towels in the room stunk of cigarette smoke. Burn holes all over the top bedding/bedspread. We removed it from the bed. It needed to be in the trash. There were blood stains on the sheets. The floor was swept, yet dirty. We saw 3-4 different types of bugs in the room. A stink but sat on the wall above the door all night. I was pleased to see it was still there the next morning and didn't end up in the bed as they are often looking for warmth. The photos are of the top bed covering which is supposed to be mainly white except for the red/black/gray checks. As you can see in the photo it is no where close to white. If we could have found a vacant room near by we would have left. We made a decision that it was at least safer than sleeping in the car. We didn't feel comfortable showering, just wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible. When we arrived home we made sure to strip down as soon as we got in the door and put our clothes in the wash in case we had carried bed buds home with us. This is no place for a 1 night stay while traveling. We often stay at Red Roof Inns and they are usually very clean and well kept. Some even include breakfeast. This location is the exception. It does have a coffee pot in the lobby, but the lobby was so unkept and nasty I wouldn't want to touch a cup of coffee there. I've learned my lesson to check the room before accepting it and if unacceptable just keep driving.

I stayed here for about four months and I’ve paid weekly for a few rooms for all my workers and every Monday Shital is always waiting for me with a friendly smile to pay and give me all the receipts I ask for and the staff and management couldn’t be friendlier.
