  The hospitality needs improvement

  I stayed at the hotel three times, I found the hospitality experience to be somewhat frustrating. I can specifically mention some employees at the front desk and waitstaff. I would like to acknowledge the housekeeping team; notably especially the lady working at the spa as spa attendant truly exemplifies excellence in her role. She is exceptionally welcoming. Although I do not know her name, I saw her again on the morning of March 2nd. Regarding the breakfast waiter, whose name I believe is Josphey, he appears to require additional training to meet the expected standards.   The hotel is set in lovely grounds and staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious but a little dated and an update would be good.   Pass on the restaurant-huge disappointment

  This review is for the restaurant and bar only. It’s a beautiful property, but the restaurant was a huge disappointment. We ordered dal tarka and was told it would take an hour, so we should not order it. Then we replaced it with tilapia tikka masala. And they brought me chicken tikka when I said no meat in any of our dishes. They didn’t have the drinks we ordered. They didn’t have the sides dishes we wanted and we were told they only have rice and fries, despite the menu having 4 other options. When the tilapia arrived it was mostly skin. Then came the pizza which tastes like a grocery store frozen kids pizza. The waiter did not know what ingredients were in any of the items we asked about and was slow to return. Overall a terribly expensive poor dining experience. My dinner mate asked me to add that after 10 days, it’s the worst food we have experienced in Uganda.
