  A MUST hotel stay!!

  Incredible, most magical experience!I was really looking forward to this trip after a super busy summer, and it did not disappoint!The service from the staff was incredible, as a solo traveller I do not need so much bother but they were there when you needed - I stayed in room 105 and would absolutely recommend, the view in the morning for the balloons in the jacuzzi is just next level. This was a huge plus for me as outside is getting cold in the winter, the view is not to miss! Amongst one of the best hotels I have stayed in.Thank you doors of Cappadocia!   One of the best hotels in Goreme

  We have stayed at the Doors of Cappadocia hotel for 5 nights and there are only positive things to say about it. Mr. Koray made contact with us before our arrival and he has been fantastic throughout our entire stay.The hotel position is perfect, very close to Goreme centre and it is possible to have a wonderful view of hot air balloons for the top floor balconies.Breakfast was really nice, with many choices. In particular I appreciated the fact that there were lots of Turkish products on offer.The pool bar is open 24/7, with reasonably priced drinks and cocktails.We stayed in room 106, a cave room with a jacuzzi. There was also a small window, which is not always the case for cave rooms.I could not recommend the place more!   A fantastic hotel with magical viewsAs a travel agent, I love sending clients to hotels I’ve personally experienced. In this case, it was the other way around — I had already recommended the Doors of Cappadocia to clients who came back delighted, and now I can say the same after my own stay.Check-in & FacilitiesThe welcome was smooth and friendly. A quick tip: reception is located at the top level, but your room may not be, so don’t haul your luggage up unnecessarily. The hotel has a nice bar, well-stocked for both daytime and evening drinks. The pool is a real highlight, though the pool towels could use refreshing (a little worn and mismatched).DiningBreakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and a pleasant start to the day. Lunch, however, is limited with only a handful of options — the burger was tasty, but overall the menu could be improved. We chose not to dine in for dinner as the evening menu was similarly limited, but the town is only a short walk away and offers plenty of restaurants.ViewsAbsolutely breathtaking. From the rooftop terrace, you get an incredible panorama of the hot air balloons rising over Göreme. For a hotel so close to town, the views exceeded expectations and are reason enough to stay here.RoomsWe stayed in room 105, the top-floor King Suite. It was beautiful — traditional stone design, very clean, and well-equipped. The bed was firm (common in Turkey), which we didn’t mind, though the pillows could be better — perhaps offering both firm and soft options would improve comfort.LocationPerfectly placed, just a 10-minute walk to countless restaurants, bars, and shops. Everything you need is on your doorstep.SummaryThis is a hotel we would absolutely return to, and I can confidently recommend it to my clients. The views alone make it worth booking. A little advice: don’t pay extra for a specific room type in hopes of a view — no rooms overlook the balloons directly, so you’ll be heading to the rooftop terrace anyway. Save your money and enjoy the shared spaces, because you’ll spend more time outside soaking up the magic than in your room.   We had a very good trip and experience with the hotel and their staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel organised all our travels and excursions and every experience was top marks.   We spent ages looking for the right hotel for our Cappadocia experience. We settled on Doors of Cappadocia for its location, facilities and value. Wow, did it exceed our expectations. The hotel looks fabulous and is fabulous. It is a beautiful hotel situated on many levels with lots of space to roam around outside and take in all the views of beautiful Goreme.The staff known as 'friends' go over and above to help and advise. Big shout out to Mehmet and the rest.of the team covering reception - they were amazing. Huge hugs to Maya the hotel pug who kept the whole friendly vibe alive. Loved every minute of our stay.
