  Very disappointing experience – far from a luxury hotel!!!! The hotel now have renovations. Just listen to the video. How can you relax with the sound of a drill? And no one warned you about this renovation in advance.Our stay was deeply disappointing. The service was extremely poor, and the restaurant was simply unacceptable. We waited for more than an hour to place an order, yet no one seemed to care. Most of the staff do not speak English, which made even simple communication very difficult.This property is advertised as a luxury hotel, but in reality, it does not deserve more than one star. Upon arrival, no one offered to help us with our luggage, despite the fact that we had several heavy bags.The evening of our vacation was completely ruined by the staff’s attitude. Even the manager was impolite and unhelpful — when we asked for a waiter, he did not make any effort to assist us.To make matters worse, there are ongoing construction works on site, which make the area noisy and unsafe. Overall, this place does not meet even the most basic standards of hospitality special for really high price 190 euro per night

  The service was terrible. When we ask for water or extra comforter we would get it after 4 to 5 hours, and that to after calling them again and again to remind them. Yesterday I ask for herbal tea and water which never came. The toilet was a huge problem too. We had to call them so many times to fix it and that to it would be a temporary fix , so it kept having problems. That was very unhygienic. They should have put us in another room. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They don’t even understand you. The only thing good about this place was the people working at the restaurant.

  A Disappointing Experience at Elika Cave Suites – Avoid if You Want a Relaxing Stay

  We had high hopes for our honeymoon at Elika Cave Suites in Cappadocia, but unfortunately, it turned out to be an incredibly disappointing experience. We left after just one night, despite having booked a three-night stay. Here are the issues we encountered:1. Luke-Warm Shower with No Water Pressure: The shower barely had any pressure and the water temperature was lukewarm at best. It was frustrating, especially considering the price we paid. This is more 1 star quality hotel than 5 star.2. Outdoor Fireplace Unavailable: One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the chance to relax by the outdoor fireplace and watch the hot air balloons in the morning on the terrace in our terrace suit. Unfortunately, we were told the fireplace couldn't be used when we wanted it most, which was a major letdown.3. Terrible Breakfast: The breakfast spread was subpar. It felt more like a cheap afterthought than a highlight of our stay, especially for a place that claims to offer luxury. Nothing warm was on offer. 4. Unusable Outdoor Jacuzzi: The outdoor Jacuzzi was too cold to use and didn’t fill up properly. It was a nice idea, but in practice, it was completely unusable.5. Spa Not Functional: The hotel’s spa facilities were not available. We were particularly looking forward to a Turkish Hammam experience, but when we tried to book it, we were told it was unavailable.6. Language Barrier and Poor Communication: The staff’s English was so poor that we struggled to communicate about even basic things. This led to confusion and misunderstandings, which made the situation even more frustrating.We were offered to be moved to another room, but the same issues persisted there. The hotel staff refused to offer any sort of refund or compensation, and we were lied to about the availability of services. To top it all off, they wouldn't let us speak to the owner to address our concerns.The hotel’s poor infrastructure, combined with the lack of customer service, made for an incredibly disappointing honeymoon. We regret staying here and would advise others to look elsewhere if you want a stress-free, enjoyable experience in Cappadocia.

  Amazing Stay Thanks to Meltem

  Location - Nevşehir, Area - Has lots of cafes and restaurants around. Beautiful & quiet area, unlike main cappadocia. Reception - Great well by Meltem, who showed us around the property.The property being boutique is of a decent size with spa & a pool in-house.Rooms - The rooms are big, and the bathroom is humongous. Overall, it was a very comfortable cave stay.Service - Excellent service by meltem who use to check on us everyday, plus the staff at the restaurant were very kind. Special thanks to Halit for arranging a marvelous vegetarian breakfast for us everyday and the server wity curly hair(sorry forgot name) and the head chef were amazing.Food - One of the best in the area. We always preferred to dine at the hotel.Spa - The spa services were good. Special thanks to the kazak masseuse. Overall - Elika was a highlight of our turkey trip , waiting to visit again and meet this wonderful people.

  Useless 5-star Hotel

  Me and my wife stayed in Elika Cave Suites for 3 nights from 30th May’24 and our experience was anything but 5 stars. I also got fooled by the 5 star reviews while booking this property. I would rate it negative. 5-star property, my foot. It appears that most of the ratings and reviews are paid for and I fail to understand how they got so many awards in the past. Their hospitality and customer satisfaction is zilch. The WiFi did not work in my room and they started blaming my iPhone 15 Pro for that. The AC in my room didn’t cool at all and they could not rectify the problem even after several complaints. Also who constructs a see through glass window in a room which peeps directly into the toilet and more so at the lavatory bowl while you poop. Totally despicable and undesirable. The Breakfast service is so very poor. It took nearly 1 hour for us to get breakfast each morning. They have only 2 people (who don’t even understand English properly) serving 40 odd guests. Very under staffed hotel. And why a 5 star hotel doesn’t offer Buffet breakfast is beyond my belief. They give you some local breads every morning with condiments and don’t even have normal bread slices/toast in breakfast. They will give you eggs and water lemon pieces by count of one per person. Very stingy behaviour. Will not recommend this Hotel even to my enemy.
