    Stayed at this hotel, as part of an escorted tour, which is in Uchisar, near Goreme. It's actually built into a huge cave and our (double) room was enormous! Very comfortable, and the rooms were warm, but - oh, those steps from receiption to the room (and the dining room) - were a bit of a challenge for me with my dodgy knees! There's no lift. Great bathroom facilities and the shower was excellent. Lovely towels, but the bathroom was so far away from the main bedroom that we had to leave the bathroom light on during the night so we could find our way to the loo if necessary! Great buffet breakfasts in the dining room (couldn't be faulted - lots of choices!). You can walk from the hotel into the main area of Uchisar, where there are a lot of touristy shops and a general stores. Loved having a glass of wine and some nuts on the hotel's "terrace"

    The only thing preventing me from giving five stars is the quality and assortment of food on the breakfast buffet. The toaster wasn't working, and the service was indifferent bordering on hostile. I was very lucky to have a room with a window which created air flow, but others that I traveled with weren't so lucky and the rooms were quite musty and very warm. We stayed in mid-november so I couldn't imagine staying in those rooms trying the summer season.

    Unbeatable location and lovely cave rooms!

    We stayed in a family room and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious with twin beds and a king bed. The king bed was on a loft so we made the girls sleep there and we took the twin beds. The location deserves a 100/100! Right behind Uchisar castle and with a view of the entire valley. We watched the most amazing sunrise with the hot air balloons in the sky. Breakfast was included and quite good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

    Wonderful cave experience!

    We stayed here on our visit to Cappadocia, and we would definitely stay again! We were concerned at first as we were booked into the hotel as part of a tour package. When we were shown our room, it was tiny, musty and not at all like the beautiful rooms pictured on the website. When we explained we had booked a premium and not basic room, they immediately made it right by showing us 2 upgraded rooms for us to choose. Since we wanted windows and A/C, we chose the stone room and we couldn't have been happier. It was huge and beautiful! We felt like we were staying in an ancient harem. Our only complaint was the bathroom was up stone steps and very dimly lit which made it hard for us at night. The shower was rather dim which was strange, but we were happy with the room overall. The huge windows overlooked the valley and we saw the balloons each morning at sunrise. I don't know if we were the only ones there, but no one was at breakfast with us and they brought a literal feast to our table. There was no way we could even make a dent in all that food! It was delicious and we were sorry our next morning had an early departure so we couldn't enjoy that breakfast again. However, they did pack us breakfast to go for our plane which included fruit, breakfast wraps, and juice. The dining room overlooks the valley and is very scenic. We had one dinner there as well and were pleased with our meal and especially the views! Overall a wonderful stay!

    Great experience. Disappointing details.

    What a unique experience with spacious suites carved into the caves. Great location with a panoramic view. This location should rate 5 star but the lack of attention to the facilities was disappointing. The shower head in our first room was broken with a plastic bag covering it. The room was musty with a broken exhaust fan and several light fixtures were burned out. The bathroom sink drain in our second room was plugged and the door to the bathroom wouldn't close. The breakfast was sparse and the coffee machine broken.
