  Cool, clean rooms & nice owner

  I would definitely recommend International Guest House. The owner is really friendly and nice and helpful, the rooms are really nice and clean and it's an easy walk to the bus station. You don't need air conditioning, even when it's hot outside its cool inside the rooms. Plus they have TV, so it was nice to catch some of the news in English. Breakfast is also included, definitely try the apple tea, it almost tastes like apple juice. If you're lucky the owner will let you taste his fresh apricots that he grows in the garden!   Off-season, thus got the the 5-person room for the price of the 4-person room. The bed; really comfy! Pillows were fluffy, sheets were clean, bathroom was clean and pretty too. Heater was working well. However the smell from the bathroom wasnt pleasant. They had the air freshener spray though. Haha! Breakfast was bread and, cheese, eggs, butter, jam. Those kinda basic things. Owners were nice, we actually walked in quite late in the evening amd were searching for affordable accommodation. They successfully sold the hot air balloon tour to us as we think EUR80 in cash is a good enough bargain. Lucky enough we only had 6pax in our basket!   You can find much better locations in Goreme

  We stayed in 2 places in Goreme, both the owners were not very friendly but here it was insane the way we were treated. We felt very unwelcomed, the owner was kind just when we arrived and every day he was less and less friendly. For the same price you can find better rooms, better breakfast, better staff and better location (we moved to travellers' cave, so I'm talking about it, i really suggest for it's price).   Я приехал на пару дней, но, в итоге, прожил пару недель)). Удобное расположение и заботливые люди. Не поворачивается язык употребить слово "персонал", потому что тут царит дружеская атмосфера. Мехмет и Бекир любят свое дело, любят гостей, любят их угощать вкусным чаем, сладостями, турецкой едой, стараются превысить ожидания, поэтому тут чувствуется настоящее турецкое гостеприимство. Спасибо вам.I arrived for a couple of days, but eventually, I lived a couple of weeks)). Comfortable location and caring people. I can not turn the tongue to use the word "staff", because there are friendly atmosphere. Mehmet and Bekir loves their business, love the guests, they love to present visitors delicious tea, sweets, turkish food, they try to exceed expectations, therefore here you can feel the genuine Turkish hospitality.   Good value, but don't get talked into too many tours...

  This place is definitely good value, but there are a few downsides. Our room (a triple) was very large and nicely furnished (no AC), but the bathroom had a pretty unpleasant small. Breakfast was alright. Great location right near the center of town. What was a bit off-putting was that the owner really pushed us to buy tours right when we arrived - we were barely off the shuttle bus. During our stay, I thought he was a little creepy at times, but maybe he was just overly friendly. We did book the green tour and a hot air balloon ride through the hostel and both were good (and I think we paid good prices too).
