    Beautiful hotel, it feels like being in a fairytale land! I especially want to thank Alp at the reception, who helped us with absolutely everything—from changing our room to arranging dinner and booking the hot air balloon tour. 100% kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended!"

    A beautiful cave hotel experience in Cappadocia

    We had a wonderful stay at Mithra Cave Hotel in Cappadocia. The atmosphere of the hotel is truly special, with beautiful cave-style rooms, authentic architecture, and one of the most impressive terraces overlooking Göreme.Waking up early and seeing the hot air balloons from the terrace was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The view is magical and makes the experience feel very unique.The staff was kind, helpful, and always available during our stay. Everything felt well organized, from check-in to breakfast and the general service. The hotel has a very charming and authentic character, perfect for anyone who wants to experience the real spirit of Cappadocia.Overall, Mithra Cave Hotel is a place we would definitely recommend for a memorable stay in Göreme, especially if you are looking for beautiful views, atmosphere, and an authentic Cappadocian experience.

    The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. This place is dirty and the people are rude. I would never go back here. I hope no one stays at this hotel to avoid this experience, which is completely different from the photos.

    Great Location with lovely views-could be so much better- we had a cave suite which was clean! The bathroom is dark and our shower was useless -the whole shower head needs replacing as was like standing under a drip!It’s a nice hotel-breakfast is ok but we kept having to ask if there was more orange juice, more coffee, more scrambled egg,more croissants-as things ran out the dishes etc were not be replenished! The staff are ok if a bit disinterested- our last night was raining so we had dinner in the restaurant -huge mistake-appalling food that was expensive and inedible -in retrospect we should have refused to pay for the very expensive steaks (tough and rubbery) and the overcooked salmon and lamb! Anyway don’t eat there -I don’t think they have a proper chef! Alcohol is very expensive -there’s some lovely rooftop bars and restaurants in town - one last disappointment - we were celebrating our friends birthday and I have emailed asking for petals on the birthday and even though they emailed back saying yes they didn’t do it! This could be such a lovely hotel with better trained staff and a good chef

    I loved my "cave" room, the service, the view, and the entire visit. Unfortunately the wind prevented my hot air balloon trip but I still had a blast.
